I have had no further news today, the vet is going to ring me tomorrow hopefully to say he can come home (fingers crossed). I'll update when I hear more.

As the 'mum' of two 'fur babies' i know the feeling far to well, wish you all the best, and your 'fur baby'!!
  • Good to have one of us (VN's) as a neighbour!

The cage is good, and as he gets stronger he can have time out when you are able to supervise!

Shame about the direct claim, but paying in installments is good.

Moxie is home! But he's very miserable being in the cage. He keeps crying all the time and trying to climb up the sides. He was actually hanging off the top just now, he's so desperate to get out! I've got him in the lounge cos I thought it would be better for him than stuck in a bedroom, but I'm not sure I can stand the crying all the time. It's awful. Final bill - £442!!! And still haven't received the claim form from Direct Line. Will chase them tomorrow. But still the main thing is that he is OK. My helpful neighbour came with me to pick him up and set up the cage for me. She'll be popping in from time to time to check on his progress so that's all good. And she said she had something she can give me to help with his stress - happy pheromones. I could do with some of those!

  • Dont stress yourself out over keeping him in the cage, you can have him out with you whilst you are home and just keep him behind bars when you go out, least you know he is safe then. And remember, this wont be forever.

Hope the fluff ball is better soon hun x
Happy riding on two or three

I'm so glad Moxie is home love.

Can your neighbour get us all some happy pheremones, they sound great :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
  • Poor wee Moxie! As another MSE cat lover, hope your little bundle of fur is feeling better soon. One of my two (see my avatar), Kipper, likes to bite his vet - I think of it as revenge for cats everywhere*

    All the best x
