Leeds Bradford airport rip off

Someone stated that companies can charge whatever they want for a service.
I said that if that was the case then they would charge 100000000000 for a can of baked beans.
No shop in this country does and hence it is not true that companies can charge whatever they want for a service.
Now be a grown up (he won't) and tell us all exactly which Law this is.0 -
Since Leeds Bradford started charging for dropping off, you see loads of people getting dropped off by the roundabout and walking up to the main doors. It's not far, easily walked really. Personally i don't mind paying to drop off, it's not that much further to walk from the Long Stay car park either, i've done it before when the shuttle bus wasn't due.0

All they can do is write the same drivel. I am pretty sure that typifies someone grossly ignorant. I blame the parents, they should restrict access to the computer whilst their kids are on school holidays.
Well s/he claims in other posts to have car insurance so must be at least a little bit older unless a total fantasist.
Wonder why this thread has flipped him/her? Whilst s/he's said nothing useful in numerous other threads it's been at least vaguely sensible and non-repetitive.0 -

There is not a single shop in this country that charges 100000000000 for a can of ordinary baked beans.
Thus the statement that companies can charge whatever they want is not true .
I will put a tin of beans in my shop window tomorrow and say i is on offer for £1m. It is a special purchase, so can get way with it that way. You try take me to court ! Wonder if anyone has the nerve to ask me to price match with the internet?
BTW I don't sell any food, but nothing is stopping me do it.
Also Anyone notice he isn't saying £100m , he is just saying 100,000,000.
Very strange character! :rotfl:
What is it 100,000,00 baked beans?0 -
People have been saying companies can charge whatever they want.
I have said that this is simply not true as no shop can charge 100000000 for a can of beans.
Thus, that statement that companies can charge whatever they want does not hold true.
Well that's !!!!!!!!. They can charge whatever they want. However they are not going to charge an amount that they know no-one on this planet is going to be willing to pay!0 -

The fact remains that they can do so if they choose to. They fact they don't is a matter for free-market economics (you price at a price you can sell at), however there is no LAW to say that they are forbidden to do so, that is their choice.
You stated it was ILLEGAL to charge whatever you want - you cannot provide a link to such a "law", as it is complete bollox and you know it. Ergo you are either a) deluded, b) an idiot or c) a troll (and a poor one at that.)0 -

He cant be that poor a troll.
He has managed to keep this thread going on for a lot longer than it should have."The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."
