How quick did peoples orders arrive after their dispatch email? Don't think it's worth sitting in tomorrow to await what little is left in my order.
But checking the items on the delivery note and adding up the cost it' still £4.40 less than the amount I paid, less the amount they refunded:(. So I'll need to get them to rectify that. Have contacted them via web form - will give them a couple of days then if no response will try phoning next week.0 -
I think the way they've handled them selves throughout this 'upheaval' has been pretty poor. I understand somethings are out of their control, like the relocation, the parent company going into administration etc. But I do agree with others, a blanket email would've taken five minutes and really settled peoples worries.
For my part, I received my complete order less than a week after I ordered it. I didn't have any problems, (I am sorry to those who are still having difficulties) and am impressed with the quality of their products. I think when everything has settled down, I would probably order from them again.0 -
This is the sad thing. I really rated their products, and their service, so its a shame the way things have turned out. There are a few items I do actually need from my order (rather than just want, LOL) so if I don't hear anything soon I'm going to have to go ahead and buy them elsewhere, at much higher prices no doubt. I ordered early on the 7th and I've had no dispatch email yet.thriftyemma wrote: »I think the way they've handled them selves throughout this 'upheaval' has been pretty poor. Fingers crossed I get my order today but I fear the value of the order is less than the postage I've paid but we'll see. The things I really wanted were trainers for the kids and the Pirate stuff. Everything else was filler items to justify the postage!0

I ordered on 9th January, 9 items - total £22
I got a dispatch email yesterday and I have just received 3 items (pirate flag, fleece neck tube and spotty cotton tunic/dress)
No refund and no communication despite lots of phone calls and promises of call backs over the last week!
Not impressed at all, I appreciate they have had issues with moving warehouse etc but an email out to all customers to advise us of this, then working their way through the orders and refunding the correct amounts/giving people the option to cancel would have been much better all round!
I have just called them AGAIN and got a fairly helpful lady - surprise surprise!
She said I won't be getting the rest of my order (despite the dispatch note saying it has been shipped!) and will apparently get refunded for the missing items within 48hrs.
I said I want a full postage refund as well as I am not paying £3.95 postage on an order that totals just over £4! She said she has put a note on my file to that effect, will beleive it when I see it, will keep checking Paypal for a refund then!0 -
Can anyone tell me who delivers the orders? postie already been and i got my dispatch e-mail wed.0

They have now refunded the total order, but still shows as packing and they did not return any calls as promised, or reply to their online form.
I hope they recover from this, as most of it seems to be due to things not of their making, however, if everyone who has read this thread mentions the contents to only one person, it could take them a while.0 -
Mine came parcel force0

OMG I just got my order through the letterbox. For the grand sum of £7.10 I have a neck chube and 2 pairs of wrist cosies/fingerless mittens.
Wrist cosies = £2.10
Chube = £0.00 (3 for 2 offer)
Postage = £3.95
Total = £6.05
Total Paid = £19.64
Refund = £12.54
Debited by MP = £7.10
Nothing adds up so I'm about to make a phonecall. Will update when I feel less :mad:
Edit: 2 items missing from dispatch note which account for some of the money. MP have fully refunded the order and as I said on the phone, they've now retained a customer. I agree with all the previous posts about lack of communication etc but I had no hassles speaking to them. I would be wary of ordering anything urgent next time but I might give them a 2nd chance now.
My order came through the letterbox via Royal Mail so I guess delivery depends on how much/little of your order you get.0 -
I have some sympathy for MP but it doesn't stretch this far.
I ordered on the 7th - order showed as partially shipped on 9th, 11th Jan packed, could see from here that there were problems but sat tight til they addressed them. No parcel received - I have just phoned to be told still packing order (so I read that as likely to get nothing). Its the varyin explanations that are tiresome - explanation to me is that all orders between 6th - 10th were printed off as warehouse relocated to Cumbria. So far so good - I asked how come its still being packed when been showing as being packed since 11th to be told that the 11th will be the date when the order was printed off (which was the Wednesday after)!!
When questioned how come other orders recieved since 7th were dealt with when they knew they had these orders still to honour I was advised to send email to customer services - which I will be doing.As countless emails above - it would have been so easy to
a) send an email to explain
b) if printing off of orders required - why did they not print off all orders and then process by date rather than allow electronic leapfroging?
Even allowing for bankruptancy this method of dealing with orders unhelpful, unfair and unnecessary. I have stil not received any communication from them since order placed. Qui sera off to see if any winter coats left in the sales - doubtful now!0
