I just took delivery of my order. I'm really sorry that some of you are having problems.:o

Glad You got your order. I ordered quite early on, so I'm hoping that my order is ok. If you don't mind could you check the website and see what your order status is?

Ordered on 7th for £22 worth of stuff and still have 'packing' as the status-no correspondence whatsoever from them. Have emailed them and will give them a few days to respond. Glad i paid by paypal.
  • Reading the recent posts it appears that Muddy Puddles are indicating that the orders are being delayed because of their warehouse/building relocation issues (which last week I read on their site happened a few weeks ago, this seems to have been removed now..). I think that may be a bit of a fob-off as the response that I recieved from them last week when I phoned was that they had 'massively oversold' the sale items on the site and just couldn't supply the items ordered and paid for. Hence all 45 of my items being cancelled and receiving nothing at all from them, except a full refund (about a week later). The items included most of the trainer styles (not being greedy here, I have 5 children!), waterproof coats, gardening growing kit thingies, sandals, hats, wellies.
Incidentally I noticed that when I rang them last week their 'Feefo' rating was 88%, now sitting at about 77%. I'm disappointed that I didn't get the opportunity to leave a review myself.....!

Still no correspondence from them. I've left messages on their facebook page, tried to phone them several times (and just keep being told that they can't help me and to ring 08445574945 who also can't help me), I've used their contact form several times. No replies to anything. Terrible customer service, clearly they DON'T value their customers at all. I most certainly won't be using them again, and will actively be telling others not to either. Awful company.
  • I've just given them a call and got the same standard reply as everyone else. I ordered shoes and coats for next winter, about £50's worth. They cannot access the orders at all so I have no idea what's in stock, what's cancelled or refunded. I've used muddy puddles several times in the past but I won't be returning again. This level of customer service even beats IWOOT for awfulness!
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j
  • My order from the 7th is still being 'packed' as of this morning.

Forgive me if I am being thick here, but how could they have 'massively oversold' sale items - either you have it so sell or you don't. Whatever happened to stock control? I can't see any excuse for it. If you offer goods for sale at extremely cheap prices you are going to get swamped with orders -it's not rocket science.

If they are in such chaos why are they still urging people to grab a bargain with 70% off? I think they should sort the mess out first and practise some damage limitation to their reputation - by emailing customers who have bought items in the sale and who have no idea what's going on.
  • glad i'm not the only the 1 that hasnt received their order. as some of you have said its gone from dispatched on 9th to packing on the 11th and nothing since. i have also tried to ring and have sent an email, but heard nothing back. i hope it does arrive as i cant normally get 1 pair of kids shoes for the price i have paid for 3!!! it is good to hear that some of you have got orders though, and gives hope for the rest of us

I ordered soon after the OP posted on the morning of 7th Jan. I was a happy customer of Muddy Puddles and I defended them, but I'm not any longer and I'm sure I'm not alone. I suspect the fact they have had to move warehouse so suddenly is due to the break up with TP, so I guess it is understandable that they are in chaos; its unfortunate for them that this chaos coincided with being hammered with orders by MSE and HUKD people. However, they really need to have taken on temps to contact customers and let them know what's going on. It isn't acceptable to basically close down your customer service dept, especially when the connection with TP going bust is going to be making customers nervous. Understandably people are going to worry that Muddy Puddles are unable to trade properly too. I know I am.
