Another alternative is thingimijigs - they offer free delivery and their prices are reasonable(you can get multi packs of 12 gloves for under £8 so with free post works out about the same) - have used them a few times over the last couple of yrs - here is a link to just the gloves:

If it sheds more light, I was told this morning by the Cumbrian call centre that Muddy Puddles were presently moving all stock from one storage venue to another, which has contributed to the delay. All refunds would be issued upon receipt of the goods once they had then been returned. They said they couldn't help with cancelling orders that had not yet been dispatched. Am really disappointed as have bought from them before and thought they were a good company.

this is someones reply from facebook
I've just spoken to someone in the last 5 minutes and they have said that they had to relocate warehouse and admin site with only a weeks notice. They are still working on sending out orders

Due to the unprecedented demand during our sale period, we have been unable to process and dispatch orders in our usual quick time frames and respond to customer care queries as quickly as we'd have liked.

We apologise for any delay in getting your order out to you and to reduce your wait time we are now sending out all outstanding orders by first class delivery. Any query or concern should be directed to us by either calling us on 0845 557 4945 or emailing - customerservices@muddypuddles.com where we will respond to you as soon as possible. All outstanding refunds are being processed as a matter of urgency.

We value your order and appreciate your patience at this busy time

Hey hey hey, it's not your fault. I've used MP before as I said earlier but I can't see me going back.

Now you see, this is what is concerning me. My order is still packing as of the 11th. I have received a partial refund but no explanation as to what the refund is for or what is left on my order. I'd ordered shoes for the boys which I was really hoping to get but by the looks of it, I'll be paying more for postage than the items I've ordered.

Has anyone else with a partial refund been able to find out if the refund included postage or have they left it on the order? I think it might just be easier to cancel mine but I can't see how to.
