Yes it's very exciting. Technically it's a stop over to see a wonderful friend on our way to a wedding in NZ. But 3 nights and our friend is putting up our kids :)

Money stuff is slow. One thing about working is less time to spend money? Have cancelled a weekend away - sad to do so but we need to rest and work...roll on end of the year I say when it should ease..technically...

Down to pennies as have been ruthless with the TTs and squirrelling stuff away. Can't wait for the new mortgage to complete :rotfl: oh the joys of a MSE diary obsessive :D

Ooh Brizzle a trip to NZ sounds lovely. We did Christmas there about 10 years ago and it was truly truly amazing (Though would I be right in thinking this isn't your first visit?) I didn't love Dubai (city) very much when we did a stopover there on a different trip; but in-laws stayed in a desert hotel that they enjoyed.

  • Hello Beanie  and MFM..

Yes I don't think the city will rock my boat but we will be doing a desert safari with my friend which is apparently ace. As she lives there she has done it about 10 times and loves it every time she says. But we have 3 days there before we fly to Australia. In December what's not to like :D

Everyone - can I just say how much I appreciate your comments and your taking the time to drop in, my lovely virtual friends. It's such an important support structure for me and one I am so so grateful for. Thank you from the bottom of my heart x

    to you all

Shlepping back from an exhausting couple of days. Crammed into a commuter train heading towards Reading. Oh the joy! Can't wait for the weekend. Not sure about MSE stuff. I have spent nothing but not sure re OH.

Planning to list some stuff on EBay at weekend. That's the goal anyhow

    Have a good evening
