Good luck for the targets Brizzle
You've really made me think there - make a veggie meal and add meat. DH won't eat veggie meals, so I am always looking for meat based meals. This might be a way of getting some more variety. So obvious, but it's never occurred to me - thanks"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've done that before for Mr SA - cooked his meat separately then added it to the veg meal afterwards, that way we're both happy. Having said that I've been known to have two slow cookers on the go at the same time, one with veg curry, another with meat.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

It works really well with beef and mince I think jwil. Not so sure it'd work with chicken or duck for example. But certainly cheaper and a more balanced meal of proteins with beans as well as meat.
Good day yesterday. Not sure of the exact amount of funds raised yet but another success :T :j
On the MSE front EBay is going well. Must do more - know I always say that but I must do it and will set myself a deadline of next Friday to list. Decluttered another 10 items.
Crazy week at work next week, must preserve my energy by sleeping as much as I can. No social engagements which will help.
Hope everyone has a good week
