I made some parsnip soup from a Jamie O recipe, it took two bags of parsnips. I couldn't face them again for ages afterwards.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

I adore them.. especially doused in maple syrup at Christmas :)

Just back from a Waitrose shop whilst waiting for DD1 at the dentist.. a few bargains but again dinner is quick and easy and DD1 is making it to make up for cutting our day out short by needing the dentist (iyswim) so v happy. And much cheaper than a takeaway which is what my less MSE family were saying.. the horror!!! :rotfl:

May also continue the holiday with a cheeky glass of vino with my OH. We have had some challenges in the last month so much talking needed. Or is it any excuse???! He has also purchased a Sodastream for some bubbles.. did some research and got the cheapest one via the manufacturer. We are feeling very retro and looking forward to that :)

  • Brizzie - forgot to say earlier, I was pondering about not having heard anything from the credit card lot, regarding CCP. Questionnaire plops through the letter box today. So at least they are not ignoring me :D

Yay to sodastream! I was so jealous of people who had them when I was a kid :D

    Have a good weekend.
