Thank goodness for end of a high octane week. Hoping for a quieter weekend, chores to do, work to do but we will structure in some fun as well. After a reasonable end to a horrid week OH and I went out to dinner..think it was the first time we had been out by ourselves since May
and spent £62. But worth every penny and I did have a cocktail
Feels really autumnal here. Only had the heating on once over the last few weeks, but suspect it'll be tempting to put it on more frequently soon. Also got to get rid of clothes mothsand do some listings so a few things to do.

Talking about moths - we have a light on all night outside our front door. In the morning there are moths of every type clinging to the door, some really pretty ones, even bright pink ones occasionally! Try hard not to let any in when I go to work, I hate the way they dive bomb you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

So how have I done so far....
- [STRIKE]clear wardrobes etc and fumigate [/STRIKE] Done as much as we can. We watch and wait now... and do a lot of cleaning.
- [STRIKE]finish accounts and send off [/STRIKE] This is SUCH good news. Maybe two months earlier than I was able to manage last year. Such a relief, although will no doubt be fielding questions for the next 3 weeks..
- [STRIKE]clean out chickens [/STRIKE] They are now happy ladies
- [STRIKE]quick visit to check out new cooker options[/STRIKE] Reckon we know how to do it and a good friend will help us prep for the install
- list items on EBay - abject fail. Accounts took too long and as it was such a nice day we spent 2 hours prepping the garden for the winter. Looks better for it.
- meal plan Nope. Thats essential and on the list for today.
- take bags to CS (and update sig) Cant find my charity card so will wait until then. Bag off to one of those sheds in the car parks though. So I have updated my sig
Tomorrow:
- kids to sports classes Off shortly.
- work. Joys for the afternoon and early evening.
- maybe make a pizza for evening.. Change of plan. PE has 30% off food so we are off out
Thanks for popping by..Lu - think we will try the Kingsman film too. Enjoyed the first one and everyone can go.

Wow, great productive weekend but with some fun stuff too. Here the link for the cake I made in case you don't see it in my diary
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/5396/almond-raisin-cake-with-sherry
Also made this today
https://anitalianinmykitchen.com/easy-yogurt-cake/
Which is lovely too and adaptable spending what you have in. Still ave half a tub of OOD yogurt and some nectarines that have seen better days so will make another tonight and see how it freezes.
Apparently yogurt cake is a 'thing' where you are supposed to use the tub of the yogurt for not only the yogurt but then to measure everything else, helpfully this lady has converted it to cups sizes.0
