Morning MrsB, I've read your diary and will come along for the ride if that's ok. Weather is pants here, hence I'm still in my pjs and using the lappy.

Hope the tax peeps agree to the installments.

    HI all

Well dear readers....all this chat on my diary long after I had gone to bed..I am well impressed! :D Yep...BC is Barclaycard..sorry I can't bear to write out out each time, its like giving them unintentional advertising..and yes for all you non West Country folks:p brizzle is an affectionate term for my dear city..but frazzled (or now brizzled!;)) is a phrase which seems pretty appropriate for most of the time! (and in real life, I answer to anything as long as its reasonably polite:cool:)

Lucielle - wow! Thanks so much...its a pleasure to have you reading.. will crack open a bottle soon:beer:

    Today I have:

    - checked mortgage and moved some money over from the OP pot to offset for the floors...it felt hard, but there is not point assuming I can do it out of the regular budget so its done now (and need to update sig)
    - checked banking and made PADs

Yes, well can you see a pattern here...that's what I have done as it can be done via my bed and PJs!

    Today I will:

    - do some household chores that I wont bore you with here!
    - try and get OH to post his vintage game on EBay but he's still sore at that jerk from Am8xzon..in fact I may post on jwil's diary as she is my guru on all sales related activities!
    - am hoping for a NSD...here goes..No.5 coming my way (hopefully!!)

This eve, have also been invited out to the theatre and a meal for a work event. Think should be nice (I think they'll be a good bunch) and it will be will be very MSE to boot as its FREE!!

Hope to catch up with everyone soon

    Hugs

    Today I will:

    - [STRIKE]do some household chores that I wont bore you with here![/STRIKE] nicely ambiguous that one;) but it did involve washing when the panels were charging and drying stuff on lines
    - try and get OH to post his vintage game on EBay but he's still sore at that jerk from Am8xzon..in fact I may post on jwil's diary as she is my guru on all sales related activities! Hmm..no luck as yet with OH but he is setting up van so that we can take nice photos and hopefully get this hire thing underway
    - am hoping for a NSD...here goes..No.5 coming my way (hopefully!!)
WOO HOO..done! Off out now and its bagged...YEAH (and OH is on pain of !!!!! (;)) not to buy anything!)

Oooh, I've just spotted my name being taken in vain :)

That's rubbish about the CD, people are so ignorant

With regards to putting the game on ebay though - amazingly I think they are more lenient than amazon. If there is ever a problem, never refund until the buyer has returned it. Even if you go to dispute on ebay they will tell the buyer to return it.

Well done on the NSDs though :T :T

Some good news today. OH is expecting £1k in freelance work. But on other hand....broken laptop ( he is hoping to fix it himself but even so will cost something for parts), broken snowboard core ( it's only 1 year old!!!...I have asked him to get a second opinion!)... So the bills potentially keep on coming! :(

Anyway thanks to jwil's helpful thread at least I am totting up my totals..and getting closer to £6k by September!!! :D

Cooking a big 'Sunday' dinner now for extended family...mainly MSE by making do as don't have all the ingredients for some things!!! Wish me luck!!:D

I love making do with what's in the cupboard when cooking. It makes cooking a meal a challenge. It normally turns out just fine.

Once, however, I had a delivery substitution from T*sc* that beat me. In their wisdom, instead of fresh prawns they delivered bananas! I think I was doing a meal and was planning on serving buttered chilli and garlic prawns. Not quite the same with bananas...

Oh no !! Can you imagine serving chillied bananas up ?!! The worst substitutions I have ever received were, a loaf of Wholemeal substituted for Nimble Bread ( as if there are noother brands of bread out there !) and a bottle of Pinot for a bottle of Bacardi ! That one wasnt too bad a substitution though ! :D
