    Hi there

Lost a longer post just now. my broadband constantly needs rebooting, it's very annoying!

So today went to plan, apart from Sainsbos leaving out the 12 cans of tuna from my delivery...luckily I noticed and will get a credit..£12! So glad I did. Wonder if this happens often??! No suggestion of any recompense tho so assume it happens a lot. I also spent more than just potatoes in the Co0p SM..but it was only £4.77 and the potatoes were reduced to 30p!

    Chooks produced 3 eggs:T

The solar panels also produced £3.81.. Surely some sort of record for a non summer day. Amazing. I have tried to be cautious with calculating what we would get over the year as its only a small array of 8 panels so have put in the budget £51pm..so £612 over the year. But they started end of June and we are already at. £470 odd so think we may even exceed that which would help with the POAMAYC challenge.

I am returning a pair of shoes and 2 pairs of gardening gioves...lord knows what got into me :o last week. I needed the bulk buy of toilet rolls, foil etc but the rest?! Anyway it's going back!

I have also set up spreadsheets for stores to help me with meal planning and budgeting and also a new spreaddie for my monthly spends so that I can track it more easily than on the app onOH's phone. My basic premise will be that I can't go over the global budget...I can move money around eg.if I spend less of fuel I have more for clothes..but basically when it's gone it's gone.

    My categories are:

    Household/Groceries
    Going Out/Fun Stuff
    Clothes
    household maintenance/DIY
    Fuel/Parking/Transport
    Food whilst at work
    babysitting/additional childcare

Have a budget of £882 so that has to be doable...(crazy how it hasn't been to date:o)..it's more than some people have for everything every month after all :( I will also make a note of PADs from this as well..

Basically everything else is pretty much fixed so this is the flex. there is the buffer too of course but I need to ignore that one as I want to use it to pay down the CCs

The crotchet is a bit ragged but have started a dolls blanket for my DD2.. The tutorials on YT are good. When I have this properly in hand I will move onto double stitches. At the moment I am having problems with tension and dropping stitches:eek:

Think that's it. Too tired to checkout diaries this eve :( but will check in tomorrow. Hope everyone had a good weekend

D'you know what Piq...I think you're right. Maybe someone else should do the clearing up...maybe I will decide to be otherwise fully occupied over Easter!

So pleased about the NSD..I have joined the challenge thread and have put myself down for 10. Only 9 to go!

On a serious note; the dust just keeps coming when you've got one of those sanders going. It's disheartening keep trying to clean it up when as soon as you turn your back, there's a thick layer again. Just keep the cupboard doors closed or it'll sneak in there.

Enjoy Easter, leave the cleaning up until the sanding is finished. Have some fun. Do you really want she was good at dusting on your headstone?

Now I know I am very shamefacedly behind with all things in Mrs B diary, so at 1 am I am now attempting to catch up !

TAX - Aargh, I hate the tax man, but, other than on one occasion they have actually been very good to us I must admit . We have an agreement now, where by we have told them we will give them a minimum of x amount a month at some point within the calender month. We actually pay in dribs and drabs depending on who pays us when and what. Some months we have managed to pay more than we have promised and amazingly enough tas long as they get the minimum agreed amount, hey have been happy with that . It appears that in the last year or so they are much more lenient than they have in the past. They send out the odd letter still, but nothing to scary or major. I know our situation is different Mrs B, but I would be pretty hopefull that they will be more than happy to come to an agreement with you.

Sandy Houses ! A good friend of mine whenever I stress about the house always reminds me of a saying of her Irish Mothers, something along the lines of " Dont worry about it, The house and the cleaning will still be still be there tomorrow, and if it isnt ,you will be damn well pleased that you didnt clean it in the first place ! :p Or something along those lines at least.

Crocheting ! - As you will read over on Mrs F's diary no doubt, crocheting is not my thing, but thought I would mention that my lovely mum has knitted all four of us ( even the lucky Mr Pinot!) a lovely crocheted blanket each (lots of diffferent coloured squares sewn together ) to take camping ! Our beds are all adorned with these wonderful creations. The Pinot Family Camping Expeditions are definately heading along the lines of Glamping these days !

Piq you have just reminded me of an aquaintance ( she was a close friend once !) shall we say, whose only topic of conversation was that she worked full time. I think she felt that noone else in the world did. Finally losing the will to live one day, ( at a very posh dinner and dance, all dressed up in our glad rags ) it accidentally popped out that if she didnt shut up about how hard she worked that I would personally ensure that her head stone was enscribed with "She came, She saw............ She Worked Full Time " The look on her face was pure horror, Mr Pinot just collapsed with laughter, Her husband nearly spat his champagne out all over the floor, he was as clearly fed up hearing it as I was, and do you know what she has never once compained again !

Anyway , on that note its time for me to bid goodnight x

My NSDs are anything I spend other than on DDs or SOs. Every week I give DH his spends for the week and I don't count it as a spend day if it is from his spends.
We have been doing this just 4 weeks and last week had no extra money for our own spending. Other than that it seems to be working. I have had to retrain DH to live within our means.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

hi pooh bear..yes it's tough but I think it's the way to go. When it's gone it's gone.

I managed to have another NSD yesterday. But not today..went into the Body Shop at Leeds station ( 1.5 hours to wait until my train!) and bought my sister a present. Oh well. She's going through a tough time at the moment.

    8 to go!!!

Off to neighbours this eve for dinner..they have kindly invited me around whilst my DDs and Oh are away. it will be nice, am looking forward to it. Will take them some eggs and a bottle..all from stores

Time to check banking and make some PADs. Will be checking in to teh diaries later and tomorrow!
