I did wonder whether you would be able to rent it out when and if the time came. Think I said as much over on my diary ! Its going to be a tough decision to make isnt it ? xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Just popping by to see how things are. It's not a bad thing to have the option to rent out the van, it's a useful thing to know in the direst of financial emergencies [obviously, I don't want you to have one, but it is a back up plan, nevertheless]

Thanks Piq..I do appreciate that it's hard when others are out of work. It's not of the scale that I got in my previous role but every little helps and it'll be very handy for the POAYC challenge.
Just read the tolip thread - there was a link on New Leafs thread..an old one but a goodie!
Off to post on the small things thread. Really want to keep focussed this upcoming week. Back later!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi NL
Can't believe it...settling down for some more diary reading and my internet goes slow...AAGGH. Nothing will work. Hope its a temporary blip.
As my mortgage is low and I can pay in (and also take out!) Money at a moments notice, but as it offsets the over interest bill I have been paying into the overpayment pot with the idea that if I have an outstanding balance on either of the CCs when the interest free period runs out in December I will use it to pay off the cards in full.
However..as you know I have been using the cards for new purchases too..not very clever.
So I will stop that and rely on my current account. I like the CC (well like in a manner of speaking!) As it keeps the debt clear and obvious..and I can make PADs too. I really want to hit this POAYC challenge of £6k which should be doable. Tough but doable if you look at our spends and income on paper at least...maybe I just live in a parallel reality..........no dont respond to that!! Clearly I do!!
