Today it's sunny and whilst am a bit annoyed at letting myself get dragged into work stuff when it's my day off ( it's my own fault!) I have :
- checked banking and done PADs
- phoned bank and got current mortgage totals and updated sig. Have also worked out the interest on my mortgage is £11 a day..it's repayment. 12 years, 9 months to go..but very low lifetime tracker (1.19% over BoE base, no fee). Not a bad deal if I say so myself. Anyway have added this all to sig as should help me keep on the straight and narrow..every £11 saved or earned is a day nearer to paying off this debt!

Just to add to the hotel conversation, if you fancy going a bit down market occasionally (:eek:), the Holiday inn rewards are pretty good as well for the odd free night. . I see you use Budget Brain too - I LOVE Budget Brain. I do a new one every month (our wages are usually the same but our emergencies vary!). So easy to use and tweak. LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!
Debt Dec 11: Unsecured £69,579 + Mortgage £59,948 = £129,527
Debt May 21: Unsecured ZERO! ZILCH! Mortgage £22,3320 -
