Yes thanks MfD...fresh air and tea seems to have got rid of it..it didn't take a complete hold thank goodness otherwise that'd have been a write off of my day.

Try TCB..its worth it and you can put the funds towards your OPs :D

Highly recommended by a new convert who is now addicted:D. I have also sent referral link to siblings for bonus of £7.50 per sign up once they accumulate £10 by using site - wish I had known earlier - we could have made over two hundred pounds last year on big appliance replacement purchases and office supplies/laptop/printer for DD! Better late than never. Have explored the site yesterday - I love it that you can have payment by Bacs or a 5% bonus if you choose to take vouchers instead - oops look at me, high jacking Brizzle's thread :osorry :o

I'm all excited about it because I have over the years tried quite a few things, and never been able to stick around long enough to get payouts of anything. Surveys - so many sites and systems and so time consuming:mad: the only things that I have stuck at are Tclub card, nectar points, boots points. I can still get all of these plus the cashback, just needs a bit more planning to order online and then click and collect to avoid delivery charges. I'm also going to make a one off £60 order to click and collect from a*da on a day that I need to go in that direction anyway, to get the new customer bonus.

So love all this enthusiasm NOA.. Just need my OH to do the same thing. Sent him a link so can get loyalty bonus but he's unsure - thinks it'll be hassle! :(

Today was a NSD - yay! Need to update the sig. Panels gleaned me £0.93 but every little helps. 1 more item decluttered.

DD2 willingly revised, under own steam, for a science test this eve. Remarkable. V pleased at the change in tone! Going for additional Maths lessons after school too. It will all help her and think she's beginning to appreciate that others are offering help so she should accept it.

Set up the FitBit too. Looking forward to using it. Easy peasy HM chippy tea. Lunch sorted for tomorrow - soup again :) Think that's it..

Oh and on another note the LBG shares I bought nosedived today! On opening! You couldn't make it up! Oh well, good job am in for the long haul :)

A great day today. Another NSD! Best haul in many a month and it's only the 12th!! Go us :)

DD2 just coloured in another brick re the mortgage..another brick towards our freedom!

I have also just planted some cucumbers (using lovely heritage seeds so fingers crossed) (if I save the seed for next year as the seed company urge me to then I would be doubly MSE..but have to say think that's unlikely! :rotfl:) and waiting for some more cuc seeds, tomatoes, courgettes, outlandish Peruvian herb ( a mint I think) I can't pronounce, coriander (as Schwartz type stuff never germinates for me) and basil from the same company. Will also plant some salad as well for pick and grow again. I had a brief pang for the allotment today but it quickly passed! ;)

Heating off so we are sitting in double layers but at least we are not spending any cash on heating!

Lovely curries and Dahl from the freezer for dinner. Yum.

Think that's it folks, have a good eve x

Tell him from a hassle-hater that it's really not:j. I have told My DH that he's not allowed to order anything without running it by me first ;) he normally looks into all it/techy stuff and e-buyer one of the merchants, so is Viking and currys :D says the self declared expert of 2 days. :rotfl:

    Happy wednesday:)

  • Hope your veggies grow better than ours. Our back yard whipped up a tornado turned OH little plants to dust.. We live and learn.

Good luck to your DD2 in exams, our DD2 seems to be taking the chilled route..

Thanks for popping by folks. No word yet on the veggies but fingers crossed. Pretty abysmal last year but we live in hope.

Hi MFM  - thanks - nice to 'see' you over here.

Huge online shop yesterday so not a NSD but no other spends so maybe we're getting better????! We are going out for dinner this eve but will try and be restrained! Decided to go to work by train today - probably cheaper than taking car given tolls, parking etc but I can't bear to do it every time (especially as door to door it takes longer) but am looking into it. It would really help my overall fitness too which is no bad thing. After a hellish drive home yest, think a calmer alternative is sometimes needed!!

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Ugh. And breathe...

What a week at work and am fighting off a cold. Did over 14,000 steps though yesterday so keeping up that side of things plus had a lovely dinner yest with OH (restrained only 1 course each, two drinks each and shared a dessert) - last to leave the restaurant :D

Today is busy busy - prepping for a fundraiser and also catching up on chores, a business development meeting..yadda yadda..but all in hand. Just need to make sure I don't get hammered this evening..no time for feeling less than perfect tomorrow and Sunday :)

More fresh groceries to get locally today, but other than that should be a low spend day.
