I love it when you go out and the atmosphere just makes it extra special.
My grater is the one we bought in our first home in 1990.only 2 wooden spoons though, and I think I may have nicked them from my mother

Every time I read your diary it inspires me to do something so thanks for that
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Aaw bless you all. You all inspire me - and congrats on the cupboard L - I haven't dared go near those at the moment!! Did have a huge clear out of them about 3-4 months ago so hope they haven't got too bad again. SA - hope you've had a good weekend. MfD - 2 spoons only:eek: :rotfl: how ever do you manage??!;)
Had a lovely time with friend. She bought us a drink so no spends today for me. Doesn't count though as a NSD as OH had to buy some things for his DIY. DD2 in good form today when not on Instagra& (ggr) and DD1 doing past papers. Better shake a tail feather (I miss Grey Pilgrimdoes anyone know how she's doing?) and get prepped for the busy week ahead
Have a good week folks

I only have one wooden spoon which I constantly have to replace, as DH seems to steal it to do random stuff like mix tins of paint with it!! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

PLMB.. Now that's too low
that'd drive me crazy!!
I will see how I get on with 6.. And maybe whittle down some more when I feel strong enough!
I did get rid of one corkscrew today (guilty secret: still have 2 tho!!)
Think maybe the kitchen is the next place to declutter and definitely the wardrobe. OH has loads of stuff he never wears in it.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradminI love my wooden spoons. I have 5, all made of olive wood and bought when we toured Nazareth in the West Bank. The guy was so grateful. It was the year after the first Infantada and tourism had dried up to nothing in Israel and especially the West Bank. We spent a long time in his little shop and bought a lot of beautiful things. He made us tea. It's a lovely memory and I think of he and his little family when I cook with those spoons.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Lovely connection with utensils you use every day. Really nice. I use Zaytoun Olive Oil most of the time to support - no olive wood tho unfortunately in my house.
On the road this week - but will check in when I can
Love to all

Sounds like a lovely meal
Love all the decluttering. I need a good clear-out of kitchen cupboards. I have so much plastic that hasn't been used for quite a few years (bright yellow banana box in the shape of a banana, multi-coloured lollipop makers, lots of gadgets and gismos and contraptions that looked clever and bought on impulse but were never ever used:rotfl:
Have a good week on the road - hope weather is kind to you.

I've lost count of my wooden spoons, and I acquired another one at the weekend when we removed the sink in the kitchen of the house we're renovating and one fell out from behind the cabinet!0

Hi folks
Know what you mean NOA..we have a lot of those ice lolly makers as well..will have to KM those cupboards over the weekendRenewed the Family Railcard via TCB..thanks for keeping me focussed on these :money: they certainly add up
Hi Caz...thanks for popping byHow are the sheep? It was a lovely sunny but cold day today (it even snowed briefly!) and I thought of the Highlands and felt envious of your escape from lovely yet urban Brizzle
Good day today. Big day at work and it went well :T relief and very pleased. Back up there again tomorrow. Friday off though to properly relax.
A NSD day for me today and yest but OH went to pub yest and small top up food shop today so the NSDs remain at 6. Not bad though for us as unlike the lovely Alice et al,, we rarely manage more than a very few NSDs a month.
Food from freezer for a quick supper, beef stew. Yum. And enough for tomorrow's lunch at work. TT done too. Woodburner on so heating still off despite the chill. Hot water bottles for everyone tonight.
Think that's it. Hope everyone is good.
