Not sure whats' happened to the Tes*c shop one though - not been confirmed or paid and its over 7 days. So I guess it is going to vary depending on the merchant involved.

    Thats brilliant NOA! :T indeed:)

But.. Hmm. Bit worried re the Tes?o one, with the merchants I have used ( not Mr T as it happens) I usually get an email within 5 mins saying it's been recorded. Wonder if anyone else has any advice?

I got the notification on screen when I submitted transaction but never got the email they said they would send - both times :(
    Have submitted a query.

    Have a good weekend

Hope everyone is well - happy Friday!!

Just spent an hour pootling around the MFW threads..all good stuff.

    Over last 2 days have:

    - used TCB for train tickets
    - cycled rather than taken car to station, so saved on fuel and parking and helped my health
    - done TTs
    - put on woodburner rather than heating...my it's cold this evening though, toes still cold
    - LOs for tea :)
    - NSD today...OH wanted to go out for dinner, but we had LOs instead. More money for the OP pot
    - bought some more LBG shares via my SIPP with the returned tax portion - have to say using an online platform makes me take much better care of my pension and ISA..like topping it up. As its a constant presence as it were, I look after it. Never happened before!! ;)

Have a good weekend folks x

Good day yesterday. Doesn't the sun being out help, despite the air being chilly?

Need to get up and do some work today. Looking forward to a good catch up with a friend too.

Went to a new place for dinner with the DDs..lovely and kept the courses to 2 (with shared dessert) and drinks to water and a bottle of wine so much cheaper than usual. Lovely atmosphere and as haven't been out in a while felt very special.

Free coffees as I caught up with a friend.

Planted the veggie seeds and put in sun to help kick start the germination before back in the greenhouse overnight. Tomatoes, cucumbers and courgettes now planted. Do need to do the salad soon. Love pick and grow again.

Pegging out. Another load left out overnight too. Will collect this morning.

3 big bags to the CS. Mainly books and DD's clothes.

No word back on some emails sent looking for work, but we're only sent Thursday so need to not be disheartened?

Think that's it. But seemed a nice balance of fun and decluttering/productive stuff.

    Have a good Sunday

    Keeping up the work:

    - couple of hours of work to keep pressure bearable next week
    - meal planning to use up bits and freezer stuff. Kids on meal duty too ;)
    - OH hard at work at DIY bits. Making good progress too
    - risotto made for lunch using HM stock, LO chicken and manky veg from bottom of salad drawer :D no one complained :)
    - 20(!!) items decluttered from kitchen drawers as was cooking. Caught up on some of the KM thread this weekend and thought I don't need 9 :o wooden spoons for example. I can cope with 6! So with some other bits (3 box graters??!) I have put 20 items in bag for bin/CS/gifting - depending on condition. Must update sig. Have smashed target.
    - no sales this month but have identified an item which will hopefully make £20 on Bay of E. Should become 'available' for sale in a week or so :)
    - off to see friend - Soft drinks from larder to take and eggs.. What's not to like ;)

    Cheers all

You're going great guns at the decluttering. Now have box grater envy!

I've decluttered the bath room cabinet which needed doing.
