Hi folks
Well the exercise is continuing and I am v pleased to report that I have cycled to the station, got the train and then walked (20mins) to the office on 3 occasions during the last 7 days.Quite an achievement I can tell you, especially getting spare change of clothes into work without completely creasing them etc yadda yadda and when its hammering down with rain like this evening. But it's good for me, and on balance cheaper than taking the car, parking all day etc. So early days but good start. OH is v keen to get me kitted up with panniers etc but I am resisting in case I stop. Then it's money wasted. But at the moment I think it'll be money well spent and in summer what's not to like about a cycle. Shall see how I feel about it next week.
Have shuffled pots, made a smaller than usual OP, eaten from the freezer..certainly eating a lot of Dahl this year!! Also have made lunch to take into work tomorrow. No alcohol either this week. Only 3 days but not bad. Also booked a ticket via TCB but bit cheesed off to see tra£nine not offering existing customer discounts anymore..boo. Had to use an untested alternative instead
Veggie seeds doing well, hope to pot them on at the weekend .
Everyone good - DD2 painting her nails (must do it 3 times a week!!!) and DD1 revising. OH working. I am on here...what a wonderful life I haveMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Yes all good here apart from the dreadful weather today. Got woken up early by the fog horn going over every 30 seconds - a good 45 mins before the alarm!
I've been looking at camper vans over the past few days as it may sort out some accommodation issues over the summer. However, it's a pipe dream as we've more important things to spend our money on at the moment. Oh well, one day....0 -
Fog horn...blimey. Luckily not an issue here..cats jumping onto the bed, yes but not warnings for ships.
DM me if you're ever thinking re renting a van...there is sometimes room for mates rates..depends on whether it's already out.
Hope weather picks up this week..I rather liked the weekend and had hoped it would last!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

It certainly is something I really want to try. Can you pm me whether it would be suitable for us - 2 adults and 2 big teenagers!
The fog horn - couldn't see the channel this morning and as its a tricky bit of water.. It went on for a good couple of hours.0 -
