Thanks NOA. Another good day yest but walking and cycling in a rainstorm meant I looked like I had been swimming when I was on the platform! Not a good look for someone meant to have a professional competent image
:rotfl:
OPs done and more TCB takings. Must work out how to claim it. Is it easy?
Decluttered another 4 items and took large bag to CS so as they 'have left the building' as it were will update my signature
Booked in for a self tan in a few weeks... Trying to kid myself it's summer. Never done one before so opting for salon for first time. Treat for myself. Think I will try and make sure I cycle most days (say 6) to earn the 'treat'.
Thinking of advertising for a M-F lodger soon - probably in June/July. Price point is not easy to judge but figure we will go for a reasonably optimal figure and if we get little/wrong interest we can review. Will make final decision this weekend. Wish us luck!!

Oh yes I do wish you luck! We just put an ad for five days in our newspaper for a renter. I'm thinking the same thing about optimal price. Our local potash mine just layed off 300 jobs so it's not really a good time for top dollar. We shall see if we get any responses.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Thanks mila. It is a big step but it seems crazy to have a space in our house that could be earning money just idle. Our house is not huge by any means but its ample for us 4 and a part time 5th resident would be fine.
Like you, if we don't get any interest we will think again but at moment am inclined to be bold (but not greedy) and see who pitches up.
Beautiful day today. Plan to peg out lots of washing, do some business development and relax.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Good luck with the lodger hunt!
It's easy to cash out on TCB, just go to your account, click payout and decide how you want it. It comes through pretty quickly too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Never had a problem with TCB payouts, they're always quick. Glad you've had good weather today. It's been a mixture of sunny and dull here. Cold though
Heating back on for a bit

Thanks L, yes it is..
So, what have I done today..
- listed item on Bay of E. Starting price of £20 so fingers crossed but new retails at £80 so you never know
- most exciting of all...listed room. We will see what transpires, but fingers crossed for some positive interest.
- repotted the veggie plants. Think will have a glut of tomatoes and cucumbers :T but the courgette plants are rampantfor heritage seeds am very impressed. Here's hoping I keep them alive until they produce
- still no news on holibobs...may use this as an excuse to wind my neck in.
- work front, bit slow, but not panicking yet
- invested in some bike/commuting gear. Will make everything easier and have to say am already feeling better for getting out more. Hardly using the car which has to be a good thing for me and the environment. Brizzle is 'renowned' for its traffic...so at least I am no longer contributing to it every single work day.
- decluttered 18 items to the CS..must update sig
- now cooking a roast dinner - yum. Belly pork.
Hope everyone is on good form, have a great evening

Nothing happening with my renter add...not one call.
I think I will have to list it at a lower price. Our town's economics are pretty bad right now.
You have been busy! :TOverprepare, then go with the flow.
