Hello all
So far today:
- cleared out a shelf of linen cupboard and 14 items eg. Towels and sheets to try and pass to a charity. Have emailed a homeless shelter for example. They will not go to landfill but I really don't need it all. 3 sets for each bed max - one off, one on and one in the wash!
- cleared 10 recipe books I rarely use and lots of newspaper recipes that I use even less. To CS or recycling depending on condition and now update signature file.. jwil I am catching you up!!
- DD2 made some lovely easy chocolate cookies - hoping she does this more often. Minimal help needed. One tin of them to take to friends tomorrow (she's cooking Sunday lunch for us all- great cook too) with some eggs. Lovely gift I think and doesn't cost us anything
- OH making HM soup for late lunch. Another friend ( am feeling v looked after) is making us dinner this eve. Meeting in pub first so some soft drinks for me, and have bought some antipasti from groceries budget but all feels pretty frugal ( and she's a great cook! (V lucky with my RL friends!;))
- meal planning done for next fortnight, using stocks from larder and freezer to minimise spend
- OH went to tip today so more stuff out of our house and garden. Allotment next!
- YNAB and budget all up to date.
Have a good weekend all

Yes OH has been convinced by music streaming..he uses &pple tho. No fee at present but that will change I am sure! I do look at all our DVDs etc & think they could go - shortly perhaps with the exception of family favourites like the Miyazaki films Star Wars sets and LOTR
Well done for multi tasking!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

8 DVDs to the CS and neighbours; further 10 children's books decluttered to neighbours, for their kids, so 90/100... Not bad eh??!
1 small glass of a special wine at my friends. Pretty pleased with myself actually. Lush food.
Need to work tomorrow and then off to a lovely Sunday lunch. What's not to like??!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi Igamogam
That's not bad..to be honest the books and linen are beginning to up the numbers.. am thinking about setting myself a challenge for February too. Another 100 perhaps? Which will mean it gets tricky and will make us really have to work for it.
Had a lovely lunch today. Managed to get away with just half a glass of red (just couldn't resist as it was a glorious Montepulciano and made me think of summer). It was luscious but as as result I feel very chipper (unlike OH!) She was delighted by the cookies and eggs..
very proud of my DD2 and chooks
And..a NSD!
Have a good week folks..heres to good things for all of us
