I haven't seen the film, but I'm pretty sure I read the book that Everest is based on. It was really good, and I don't know why anyone would want to do it!
I'll have to try and catch the film sometime."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Today I have succumbed and a small (very) small glass of wine from the Xmas stash...but it didn't make me feel as good as it should have, so going to get a ginger beer now! I have been getting headaches and am beginning to wonder if I am craving sugar?
We have made a few OPs against the mortgage this month, not enough to hit my MFiT - T4 goal, but as you know had a splurge before Xmas so need to sort that first. Am glad I am starting it anyway and OH now knows what a TT is :rotfl: (speaking of which Mrs T has been quiet lately) and we are making the small initial steps. We have just listed a book on Am0zon but seriously running out of stuff to sell ...
Went for a family walk today. Lovely time and sole expense was £15 for cake, hot chocolates and a pint for OH. Pretty inexpensive, particularly compared to what we have traditionally spent..lunch etc. (This time we ate before we went out) Also went for a run with DD2 and did some work, so a pretty productive day.
Just chilling in front of the TV now..
Have a good week, allMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

D"mn - just lost last message.
Quiet on the MSE front today. DD2 left our dinner in the school fridge  but we will have them tomorrow. Got bits from freezer to fill the gap. Note to self in days gone past we would have gone out to dinner on an occasion such as this..oh how things have changed. I wonder if its also partly as I am not drinking..desire to go out is currently much much less.
EBay wellies safely arrived. Weird colour but much cheaper than new and as seller described so all good.
A LSD..some postage for EBay parcel despatch, school dinners, DD2 club fee and a watch strap repair. Thats it. We are not doing too badly hey??Will be very interesting to see the scores on the doors (nod to Caz there
) at the end of the month. I think we will be under budget, got ourselves back on track after Xmas largely and not spent on anything that was not in the budget. All good things
Hope everyone is wellMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

No alcohol...quite enjoying it now. (.. Can't entirely believe I wrote that!) Have been doing TTs every day. Taking in LOs for lunch. A NSD day for me except for £2.35 on veg for dinner. Bids in on a few items. Fingers crossed for more.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi Brizzle. Just dropping in to say hi **subscribes** I have read parts of your diary before and happily recognised the name when I came back to the site last year. I too have a hubby who likes hats (just read a post from one the start of your diary) but also looses them :rotfl: and my weakness is food purchasing and we have 2 DD, although younger than yours.
So I hope you don't mind me joining in.0
