Just catching up with you and very glad to read everything is going extremely well in your world. You sound so motivated.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks SA..yes I am motivated and focussed and it helps hugely that OH is on the journey too (may have been a later arrival but he's here now).
Two things help underline that for me:
- his enthusiasm for YNAB..he updates it and checks it reconciles every single day (yes you read right)
- he went out last night with some friends and didn't spend a thing. He had prepaid for the event last year, cycled there and back. A mate bought him a pint and he nursed it all night...if you knew him in RL you'd know that is EXTRAORDINARY. I am still gob smacked 24 hours on.
Oh and just realised we are going back to the hotel (2 free nights with my loyalty points) where he first learnt the truth about our debts..so that means it was about 3 years ago I think - would need to check back June 2012 or was it June 2013? Anyway..feels good to go back but with this focus and with a DF badge
Thanks SA xxMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi Diary and dear MSE friends
Weird blurgh day today..
- started doing paper work and then proceeded to overpay some tax. Really peed off with myself as its £1k I will now need to get back. Really dumb thing to do.
- did long overdue checking into our life insurance...sent emails and think will need to get a top up policy. That'll be another £30 pm I thinkbut if we do have to do it, then must remember to get it via TCB
- several chores complete. Got some YS items too which were needed, rather than impulse buys...someone was looking favourably on me then (maybe to make up for my HMRC blunder?)
- chickens laying well. Always eggs in our fridge these days
- pair of roller skates and a toy to the CS..can I count that as 3 items for the decluttering total :rotfl:
- no decorating achieved but 3 items on bay of E and one will definitely sell tomorrow.
Also packed for my weekend away. Planning to take food and wine for a picnic lunch at the hotel. Every little saving helpsMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
