Thanks OF. We are doing well I am pleased to say minimal spend on groceries so far this month which is a huge help. Larder looking less chockablock... but as we are unlikely to starve that doesn't say much! I keep plenty of stores in..
Still on Dry January..the killer will be a book club meeting with my lovely friends tomorrow...usually much wine is drunk...will have to see if I can resist!!
So basically....on Day 13.... the budget is holding up! :T :jMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Sorry you are feeling bleurgh today, hopefully you will feel better as the day goes on. We have sunshine here as well , its helping me feel brighter that's for sure . You must take your own advice and slow down if possible !
Fab news with the budget, I take it you managed to stay away from the Wine at Book Club then ?! xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Yes Mrs PG..I did!! Me and someone else drank lemonade..:) I thought it would be hard but actually it was fine after the initial 30 minutes. As I said before I think if I could break the habit/associations I have with fun times and relaxation and alcohol I'd be in good shape (and richer!)
The £9 also came through safely. I love PC surveysMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Brizzle, I'd like to pick your brains if I may.
We've got to go to the Wellsway sports centre on Sunday and I think you are over in that direction.
If so, do you know of anywhere decent to eat? Youngest has training from 1-3pm!
If you're not in that neck of the woods, then I do apologise.0 -
Hello dangers!!
Bit further East than me (I am in Bristol proper) but I have heard good things about the LockKeeper pub?
I will send out a text or two and see what peeps think
