Hmm. Harder to avoid feeling short changed today..but managed to complete Day 8 without alcohol. Given the new guidelines too and my attempt to reduce spends and calories it's not a bad thing.

Spendy day as lunch with girlfriends (£10) and dinner out with DDs (£35). But other than that a good week! Tried to do a survey but got screened out, some bids on Bay of E items and 3 eggs from chickens.

    Could be worse, much worse!

And in other good news....my 'gamble' with being honest re workloads has paid off. Now slated to do a job that I think I can do well in the time allocated, but also no decrease in pay and the option to move it around again in late Spring. Really pleased. Feel valued and like I stand a chance of pulling it off :D

    Have a great weekend folks

Nope. Hang on a tic. I think I've stuck to budget so that'll be two things!

I told him there was no leeway at all on his spends budget..so if he needs more income he needs to look in the loft for stuff to sell..

I reckon he might 'buy' it, and if so, it will be a win/win for me as that loft is stacked full of stuff..and if it isn't useful/needed it should be cleared

    Thanks jwil..we coped ;)

Today has been a NSD! Even managed to scrape together some ingredients for DD2's cookery lesson tomorrow which didn't involve a mad rush round to the corner shop.. why do kids always leave it to the last minute!!

Had a lovely day out at the panto and for afternoon tea..and as all paid for before..counts as a NSD! Think thats the first one of the month too! :D And still on Dry January..go me on Day 10 :D (hasnt happened since I was pregnant (which was a loooong time ago)

Got the work week from hell ahead..so wish me luck peeps
