Thanks jwil. We have and are and planning to schlep off for a couple of days in the van now. Just trying to find a spot with less rain
Have edited my sig re the declutter. Unlike the inspiration that is jwilI only managed 2 items last month! So am now trying again. Trying for 100 items, which if we mainly use bay of e should get me to my goal of £250 this month to help pay off the CC madness but also declutter. So kids will be informed and everyone needs to pull together!

Ughh. Just lost a long post...hazards of wifi on a campsite
Lets try again..and to summarise...
Well we have just had a great two days in the sun..yes, the East came to our rescue. Thank you Norfolkits lush, very flat but great for cycling and walking. Will be here for another few days I hope.
Horrendous news from Leeds Cumbria York etc...huge commiserations to anyone reading from there. More storms forecast this evening too
On the financial front, things are looking up after a 4 hour marathon YNAB session..kids and OH playing games and doing homework as I cursed my way through..;) In the end I forecast for a full 12 months ahead (with a large assumption that the current contract continues for its duration but have to make some assumptions I guess..but note to self should try and think about a back up plan in a few months). Treating the household accounts like a business I guess - no bad thing and its a good discipline. It also irons out the inevitable cash flow issues of being self employed and having an intermittent income. The finances certainly look better in the second half of 2016
Also on the financial front..courtesy of a membership I now have a TasteC2rd membership. Cost me nowt. I probably wont use it very often as we tend to use independents, but its good to have if the occasion arises. In addition, OH snaffled a bottle of bubbly at £6.99 for NYE...planning a quiet night in with kids in our cosy van so unlikely to need much more. Result!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Best of luck for 2016 brizzled. We are having intermittent wifi because of the weather here too. Just piggybacking a BT connection today.
I am impressed that you have managed to work through to forecast the whole of next year. I struggle month by month. My attempts to get Mr P involved with YNAB failed dismally. He goes to cashpoint, sees there is availability and takes it out and spends!!!!But I have a new plan, rubs hands together

Hello
Probably last day of our short hols..not sure but will probably leave tomorrow. It's been great and we have had a great time, spending lots of quality time together. OH and I even went on a 5 mile walk yesterday by ourselves as DDs hung out together in the van..
It's beautifully sunny here now, but girls not yet up. Thinking of a bike ride, even though a bit blustery. It's a free trip and as we did have dinner out last night (although child's portions all round...the adults were huge and we didn't want to waste anything) we are not planning to spend anything today.
Time for a coffee and read of the paper (online) and then up and at the day

:wave:Hi Brizzle and Happy New Year.
Loving the sound of your van - if we had the spare spondoolies I'd certainly be in the market for one.
Have lovely day whatever you do. It's taken a turn for the chillier but looks like a dry day ahead.

Hello - lovely day yesterday with another 20 odd mile bike ride, mainly down country lanes. So chilled though - wind is fierce here - then stopped in a Gr&ggs for a coffee cake and soup. Pleasantly surprised (haven't been in one for years) (too snobby I guess
but given all indie places were rammed we were stuck) and good value too. All in for£10. Pretty impressed.
Had a lovely eve paying games and doing NY resolutions. Some great ones! The kids made suggestions for me and OH ( and each other!) - they were very perceptive and mature - made me feel proud. Will post some on here later
On way home - got some nectar points with our fuel and resisted M&S food on offer (unlike everyone else given the laden people in the queues!) and all fired up for serious MSE activity in 2016 and of course Dry January. (As I only made it to 4 Jan last year (as DDs reminded me!) I have some ground to make up!!)
Bring it on!!!

Happy New Year Brizzled! Very impressed with the YNAB forecasting. Sounds like you've had a great camping trip - and very healthy too with all the cycling and walking. I like the idea of a dry January but I don't think it would last very long especially as we're going on holiday in 2 weeks! Good luck with all your plans.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
