Glorious sunny day. Makes my heart sing
Various domestic duties...tidying, chivvying kids, washing, pegging out. Some spends with grocery shopping and getting my hair cutReclaimed 2X PC surveys so £6 in PayP8l account now. Do like PC surveys. Usually interesting and seem to be a few around at the moment.
Quick update of sig files. Need to work out tax bill and then I will really know how much I have in hand.
Planning to go out with OH this eve...probably eating as 'early birds' before the rugby.
Have a good evening folksMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi all
Well the meal turned into drinks, turned into a late night with friends ...you know how it is sometimes. :rotfl:
Been a good start to the week. Think I will get contract extended for a good period of time. On same basis as currently which is good news. But will try and claw back 1 day a week so working max. 4 days which will really ease the pressure on me and the family too.
Still massively behind on accounts. Think might need a book keeper. May see the accountant next week and just see what he says. Did 4 hours paperwork again this weekend but it's just not enough...
Girls in good form. Dinner prepared again on Monday and this evening. All lush and makes such a difference when I walk though the door to having it all prepared. Love it. They are also both doing some jobs around the house when they get in from school ...before clubs and the inevitable watching of &arp on TV and other screens....that's also helping my mood loads and allowing me feel less like Cinders/unappreciated servant! :T
Money wise, have really tried to get YNAB in gear and balanced for upcoming month. Problem is spending more than I want to, plus putting away more than I can really afford. Love saving but don't want it to just be an illusion if the overdraft starts creeping up again. Robbing Peter to pay Paul is just bonkers.
When I know how much need to save in tax account, and can forecast what it'll be, that'll be key.
Hope everyone is good. Have a great evening folks xMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi Brizzle
I can relate to spending more than you want to and trying to save ( probably more than I can afford too)
This month I'm trying to get loads more stuff on the bay to try and negate some of my spends from last month. As a result of having a lot of unexpected expenses, I'm not sure how much extra I will be able to pay off the mortgage and add to savings this month. Fingers crossed that I manage to get my rear in gear and get some good sales.
I've set some targets for this month in my mfw.diaryGE 36 *MFD may 2043
MFIT-T5 #60 £136,850.30
Mortgage overpayments 2019 - £285.96

Christmas savings card 2020 £20/£100
Emergency savings £100/£500

Hiya folks
Good few days...have managed to secure a long term contract which is also part time, so that will allow me to plan but also permits some flexibility.
Work still pretty full on but the above is helping me cope.
OH under the cosh at work and feeling itRather falling out of love with it all methinks...
Money wise...trying to be good. Largely succeeding in avoiding lusting over too many items in the Ph;se 8 and H@bbs salesanyway haven't succumbed yet!!
Hope everyone good xMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

That's fab news on the contract
As you might have seen from my diary contracts are a dirty word in my world. Well done on resisting the sales (for now!).
