Trying a 5:2 approach to lots of areas of life..so far failing on the work productivity/effectiveness, exercise and less screen time front
but managing not to drink so far this week so 2 + 1 extra day for me. Well done Brizzle

Long week this week. 5 mega busy and long days. Bleurgh. If weather picks up that makes it easier tho - not sure why but it does. Looking forward to a restful weekend...

BTW YNAB is simply a marvellous product. Can't rate it highly enough. A few additional tweaks I could suggest but generally think everyone should use it. Moving from merely accounting for spends after the event, to a proper forecast, has been a revelationMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi folks
All go here. Busy week at work too. Selling lots of stuff on EBay. 3 lots posted which is a start. Sun is shining which always makes doing jobs more palatable I find.
Trying to remotivate DD1 re exams..she's losing her mojo poor thing. Feels early papers didnt go well so less focussed now. She is going to do another hour's revision and then we are going to look at furniture in charity shops. OH is labouring to sell stuff...not sure how long he will last tbh! Not entirely committed..just wants a rest from the hard graft
but I am overruling him as am very serious about decluttering today.

Defo........dont want to miss out on all this lovely sunshine. Since having our solar switch installed the electric immersion heater has not been on which means our electric bill will drop even further ( it usually goes up in summer..electric company could never work that one out!!) At first light the panels start their work and even on dull days the HW is heated up to 60 c. Very pleased!!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Thanks, yes will chase. Everything else so far seems to have been excluded so it's the electrician route now.
5 lots posted on eBay but few views. Am thinking sun and football is keeping people off the site? Oh well, better uploaded than not.
Off now to motivate DD1 into picking up a revision book...probably via a cup of tea.

Hi all
Another busy full time week but largely positive. Good to earn some more money anyway and trying hard not to get so emotionally engaged with work - too tiring and can't have extreme exhaustion on top of everything else.
New inverter being shipped over from Europe so fingers crossed it's installed soon. Will be good to get that resolved as missing the money and free leccy when sun is shining.
£100 made on eBay. But other lots v quiet. May list one more time for free and then otherwise send to CS to hope they can make something from it.
Hoping for a quiet weekend. Need to recover!

Thanks so much SA for popping by. Sorry haven't been 'over to yours' for a while...hope you're very well.
£35 added to the haul this weekend. More listed..old phones etc so fingers crossed. Ain't bad.
Busy day in the garden today...really taking shape. Very exciting. Hopefully we will get to enjoy it in some sun at some stage.
Back to the grindstone tomorrow...but not as preoccupied by it as much as is usual on a Sunday eve. Good progress by me I say...
