Woken up to a wind free :) sunny day. This is more like it!!

Planning to go for a walk and take it easy. Bliss.

Paying off the Xmas CCs in full this week and then I can concentrate on the remaining CC on my sig again. Really want to start throwing the cash at it, but had a word with OH yesterday..we have been far too profligate with the treats recently (I think the weather hasn't helped) and we have to rein it in and stick to a budget..he says he is on board so here goes... Will keep my mates in the box posted :)

Good luck with getting back to the budget - it feels good when you do (says me, spiralling out of budgetry control at the minute!!)

You are so so close now and if all that 'treat' money can be directed onto the CCs then you'll be debt free before you know it :)

Oh and the weather doesn't help ANYTHING at the moment does it, although the sun was finally shining today here, hope it was for you too!

Thanks daisy, yes a beautiful day yesterday with a 3 hour walk along a very high river

Quiet day today. Appointments for doc etc..but basically chilling with my girls. Trying to take it easy. Had a health assessment recently and that was one of the things they mentioned (no surprises there:rotfl:)

Done some TTs and paid off the Xmas CC. Yippee. No heating on..just wearing 3 jumpers ;) Made a simple lunch of jacket pots, baked beans and cheese and salad. Lovely. Dinner tonight at my mums so pretty much a low spend day :)

An Ebay item sold yesterday for over £20..so about £50 so far. Not bad, could have been better but it'll help. May get OH to find more bits in the loft to sell..he is more thorough than me on this kinda stuff! :)

Off to get another cuppa and then try and get DDs to do some tidying..what are my chances do you reckon:p

Well, new ambition..every day I will write out 5 'good' things on here, good things that are nice or useful things that have happened to me and / or the Brizzle family money wise...(not sure why it's 5.. :rotfl: but it's a nice number to start with! )

    1. Realised that the promised cash back (£25) from my house insurance renewal hadn't appeared. Chased it a fortnight ago. Chased again last week. Result is apology and apparently it has been transferred to my bank account today. Yeeha!
    2. £25 on an Ebay item. Makes it worth the hassle of listing etc, somehow, and means I am currently £50 up when added to 1 above ;) or £75 when added to previous sale today :) I feel positively wealthy :rotfl: ( well if you ignore the sig!)
    3. Heating off all day despite 4 peeps in the house..mean? (yes, probably! ;))
    4. Free dinner at Mums house this eve :)
    5. Free childcare for a few days from Mum...they will love it and so will the DDs...did have to give them some pocket money tho...so a small spend day

There..got there, to 5. And feel better already :D
