Thanks for popping in everyone

DDFW..your awesome news!! It's great! Well done! :j

Mrs PG..thanks for being supportive. Have just done the spreadsheets..not as good as I would like as bought a few Xmas bits plus Ebay is slackening off. Stuff ain't shifting plus we are running out of things to sell.

Have done TTs and updated sig. Still hope to be below £5k before NYE and need to stash away that £1.5k too. This year everyone is clubbing together to buy the DDs the couple of items they have really really asked for which takes the heat off us. It's not been said re have debt as such..but more about buying thoughtfully which I think is a good position for everyone if I am honest. Otherwise the ILs especially go a bit wild with presents which I think is a little OTT for Xmas. Many Xmas presents this year will be very sensible..PJs and the like. All stuff they need.

Tomorrow..am planning to do some Xmas shopping in peace and quiet and have brekkie with an old work friend. Then head down for a long old week at work..wish me luck!!:)

    Thanks folks

Weeeellllll..not sure I deserve the applause as a v spendy day yest. Lots of Xmas presents bought, despite sticking to the list it cost hundreds! and then I bought some new luggage. To be fair, with my job and all the travel and the fact that the last lot cant be repaired it's all justified but still the current account has taken a hit...

But small things. More items to list on EBay..amazing where they all come from hey??!! :rotfl: and I put a load of items in the virtual shopping basket from the sale in the H@bbs store yest eve...but resisted :D None actually purchased despite the bargains. If I need more work clothes I will go to M&£ or next! They will be fine..it's just I know that h@bbs stuff fits.. But that's no excuse :D

More Use ups for tea. GPs and aunts and uncles all helping towards DDs Xmas presents :) Pay day tomorrow and rent in..so not all bad. You gotta keep smiling I find ;)

  • Well done on getting sorted for Xmas :T and for buying needs (luggage) and resisting wants (clothes) :j I have asked for needs this year for prezzies it wasn't received well again but so much more useful than something I don't need and have no room for. I do appreciate getting gifts so hope I don't sound ungrateful x
