I'm reading a kindle book at the moment where Cheddar features heavily - 'as the crow flies' if you're interested. Quite good, made more interesting as its local.0

So small gains...
- OH has done some OT which should be paid out next month
- scores on doors after some OPs weren't as horrendous as I had feared. Will do the spreadsheets tomorrow
- wonderful friends paid for our dinner yesterday, so kind and generous. We did go to the cinema..HG2.. It was brilliant and the girls loved it so £25 but cherished. That was the total spend for yesterday.
Usual chores today. Will check back in later. Hope everyone is OKMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Thank you everyone for being by my side ( and sometimes a little in front lighting the way and showing it can be done... Step forward Mrs T, DFW, DDFW, kerri, Piq and loads of others
) it means such a lot and I would have just shoved it all on the mortgage and effectively secured the CC debt  if I had not found this place..
It has also prompted OH and I to truly become a team on this. It was the one thing I kept from him and lord does it feel a million time better to be sharing the load and whooping at the successes!
Have a WONDERFUL week folks. Hope you get loads of good things coming your wayMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

So the update:
- 3 huge pots of pate made from a £1.49 pot of chicken livers from my local butchers. So easy to make and haven't made any for ages. Will be a great snack when I come in from a late train!
- errands run..all necessary spends...even glue! Well I need to be able to repair and reuse things
- scores on doors for food is £280 on food last month, mainly veggies, fruit, milk etc but another £70 on school dinners and £60 on alcohol (some of which was for Xmas presents, vodka and so on) so hmm. Anyway, way less than the budget and we are carrying on this month with meal planning, freezer and larder use ups. Gains to be made for sure but not the £250 monetary fast I had been planning and not surprisingly with less snacks etc in the house the kids went for school dinners almost every time! :rotfl:
- ran with DD2 to and from her club and home in between. Shattered now :rotfl: DD1 sorted her and her dad their tea whilst we were out which was good of her. Kitchen looked like it'd been ransacked tho :rotfl:
- our lovely lodger is offering to cook an eve meal this week..that'd be great I said
-masses of meatballs made ( with lots of porridge oats as bulk) as well as veggie tomato sauce, using up the marrow and some cheap celery. They will do about 4 family meals from 2 packs of Wai£rose mince.
- things purchased for the Food Bank. I will build it up over next few days if we do odd bits of shopping. Just need to work out where my nearest drop off point is. I think I know but will need to check.
May go out for a half with OH in a bit...need to restore some sanity as OH is working far too hard!
Have a good eve folks

Check out the sig folks!!!!

Getting there. Most presents got. Ferry and accommodation paid for for skiing. Kids winter gear got for bargainous prices. Only lift passes, tolls and fuel ( and food) to buy...so it's looking achievable.
Taking ILs out to lunch next week tho. Sunday lunch at a local place so that's a spend. Need to be careful but feeling optimistic.
Later. Need to sleep now.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Thanks granny. On my way to another long day at work..but day based working from home tomorrow which is a relief.
Plotting how I can get rid of the MB.A card in next fortnight. It will be tight, house insurance renewal coming up soon too but may try a cash back site and also earmark the rent for Jan for that.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
