Thanks everyone for stopping by. Have a brew!

The pie was very nice, kinda like a variation of homity pie, but closed. Everyone liked it :)

We have started drinking Herman...:rotfl: and very nice he is too..slight fizz, would be more if I left him longer I think and not too gingery so we are upping the ginger quota for Herbert..his son! DD2 has taken over feeding Herbert duties (and shaking the fruit gins) :rotfl: its a great budget soft drink. Can really recommend it.

Went for a nice long run. 45 minutes. Felt good :D

Early eve this eve...long week ahead work wise. Hopefully my dreams will be of MFdom!

  • Briz do you have a L1dl newr you? They have adults and kids ski wear on sale currently and at extremely reasonable prices. I'd say it's worth a look as a comparison?

Good luck with your MF journey!

Pie sounds fab, I made something similar ish in the week. Mine was without Chorizo, Piq I will send you some ! :D

I am very confused about the Herman ( you know it doesn't take much to confuse me Mrs B ) I thought Herman was a bread, so why on earth are you drinking it ? ! :rotfl:

Loving Mr B's canny ways, you have reminded me that I need to get hold of some cozy clothes for the girls. Have you a ski trip in the camper planned for this year ? Im thinking I may have missed a few pages of the diary !

Sounds like you had a great weekend xx

    Hello

Dreams were good thanks but charging into the big smoke now :(

Herman is the ginger beer factory in my house...amazing what some ginger, sugar, yeast and water can do!! Currently his son Herbert is doing his stuff and growing day by day!! :)

Thanks for the clothes ideas GG..great to hear from you, how's things? . Yes we do have a Lid! Which for some odd reason I hardly ever go to. Will check it out though but given the purchases yesterday think we are all done now.

If anyone has a Dec&thon near them they are generally v good. Cheap but excellent quality.

Hmmm...yes rumbled Mrs PG...should have known no flies on you (or daisystar!) We are thinking of moving a holiday forward. Been a difficult decision but if we can get below £5k by NYE and save the money to go (£1.5k) we will do. It'll be an even more frugal Xmas!! And it's a reason for moving the DF date back..we need to live a little, a little on the way and Easter is so late this year that's not really an option Talking about Xmas brunch not the traditional meal..which I am sorry about in some ways but also lookin

    Aargh. Just lost a post

    Hello

Great to hear from you all, especially GG! How's tricks?

That's an early start PG. Hope alls OK. Heading into the big smoke myself now but had a lovely weekend so not complaining

Herman is the ginger beer plant. His son Herbert is currently being fed and growing big and strong! Amazing what ginger, sugar, yeast and yeast can do!

For some inexplicable reason I never go to L8dl, don't know why. If we need more I will check it out. Dec@thlon are also usually great for good quality and low priced stuff. Or there is always Ebay!

Hmm.. Yes have been rumbled Mrs PG. No flies on you or daisystar! We are thinking of moving a holiday forward. Easter is so late this year so that's not an option and I had wanted to go as a treat for getting DF. After lots of talking OH and I have agreed we will go if we have a really really frugal Xmas and have got below £5k on the sig and have saved the necessary £1.5k to go, we will. Feels a bit strange when we have been so focussed on being DF for so long but it also seems the right thing for the family which is so important too.
