Yes its quite frustrating when you finally have that LBM and realise just how much money you'd have if you had no debts isn't it. If only we could turn back the clock, knowing what we know now. How different things would be.

I'm worried about mortgage interest rate rises too as not sure how we'll manage but not much we can do about it, other than focus on reducing the debt asap. Suppose I'd have to be on a more formal dmp then as can't see predators accepting lower payments than they're having now. Not worth worrying over though as that really doesn't help

Hotel sounds like bliss, hope you manage the swimming in the morning

Good to 'see' you SBO

Still loitering in bed. Blimey feels lazy but so good after busy week and a few more weeks like that to come.

Small goals for today, TTs to do. Enjoy being calm and not working. Looking forward to seeing Dr Who at the cinema this eve :j. not sure what to do for food. May eat in or may risk a small treat out...will discuss with OH..maybe fish & chips?

Can't wait to update the spreadsheets on Tuesday..really pleased to see even small decreases...so hope I can get the cards under £5k before Xmas

Enjoy Dr Who. I am thinking of taking my mum to see Philomena this evening, as both girls are out. Social butterflys that they are !

I am in no doubt that you will hit your under 5K target Mrs B xx

    Hope Philomena is good.

Thanks Turfy! I do feel like I am getting there and, as ever, the journey has been something that is changing my attitude towards money forever..in the past it was too easy to consolidate any OD or CC debt by just getting another advance on the mortgage..

We will get F&C..girls are thrilled and it'll be SO much cheaper than a restaurant. Just chilling now for half an hour (have lit the stove) before the next thing starts..kids doing homework..their idea not mine! :)
