Good luck with selling Oh's games, if you sell enough you could pay one of the debts off- i hear star wars fans will pay silly money for some things. And if he's not had his out for 20 years surely he won't miss them

Well, just a quick update on one thing.
Have checked the expenses for groceries this month and so far is £342.00. Am really pleased as think we can keep to the £400 limit for the month, probably with some to spare as apart from an Mr ALD! Trip this weekend we don't need anything. The cupboards and fridge are more run down than usual but that's no bad thing.
So small steps. But the omens are good!!
Off to decluttering now....:-)

Another busy day although not achieved half of what I hoped we might!
Oh well... DD2 thrilled at her decluttered room and the changes we have made - moved furniture around and desk has come up to her from downstairs. Ever since she came home from school and saw her 'surprise', she keeps on thanking us..aawww!!
Have reached a max. number of bids on EBay..20! I didnt know there as a maximum on the activity you could have at any one time. Could apply for more I guess but think that will do me for now..bids at £13.00 and only really still on Day 1 so everything to play for!! I have listed everything - some are free as well - from an old fireplace  ( to clothes I have never worn to beauty stuff (thats still in its packaging!!)..:rotfl: its a good feeling. OH also went to the recycling and gave a load of books - I mean over a hundred - to the local CS.
We havent spent a thing as didnt manage to get to the DIY shops..which is good and bad. Probably means we will go around this weekend with the kids in towor else leave it...anyway what will be will be!
Will spend something on the eve out with the girls though. Have just seen its a 3 course menu for £11 so may go for it..how bad can it be :rotfl:
Have a great eve everyone and hope you've had a good day

Well done on the listings and decluttering! You've achieved loads!
With the maximum - it's generally only in certain categories unless you are a new seller. I think clothes/toiletries etc are the worst for that and other areas where there are likely to be lots of fakes/scams. You should still be able to list items in other categories if you want to. I've regularly got over 100 items on there but don't tend to sell a lot in those categories."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thanks jwil for dropping by - that must be it. Clothes and toiletries :rotfl: am getting shot of my impulse buys/unwanted gifts from yonks ago..
It was only 1 thing that I couldn't list so I will just save it up. Especially now I know how easy it is to do.
Just updated my sig too..the joy in the small things!!!
Have a great weekend

Wow you have been busy !! :T
I love having a good old declutter, I now have a whole room full of stuff to sell. I use Music Magpie all the time for CDs and have just discovered Zapper which sometimes pay a bit more. I know we probably should have held onto them and listed on ebay or Amazon as you are doing , but I just didn't have the time or patience to list them all individually. I think we have made about £300 through Music Magpie but I have held onto the limited editions !!
Great news about the game, do you think my old Buckaroo would fetch much ?!! Or Battleships ? You have got me thinking though Mr Pinot has loads of old trains in the loft....if only I could convince him to sell those , I think some of them are quite rare:)
Signature is looking good............. small things give us so much pleasure these days don't they ?!!
Hope your weekend goes well xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Thanks PG..it makes us feel so much better doesn't it?
I would really look into the trains. Presumably that can sit outside the DMP can't it? What we are saying, here in the Brizzle household, is that we will sell what we can and then put it against either a debt or for something tangible, like this year's camping hols. That way it feels like the fuss of listing etc has been worth it and it doesnt just leak away to be spend on groceries etc....but we shall see..the best laid plans and all that!
I have put the ingredients on the ALDI list for the RR ice cream...am looking forward to that!!
OH hasnt listed the game yet but will let you know who he gets on!!!

I'm not sure I could get Mr Pinot to part with them in all honesty. Im sure it can sit outside the DMP, everything we have made on ebay etc has just been stashed away for now and banished from my brain !!
You have got further than me with the ice cream,Ive not written a list let alone put the ingredients for the ice cream on it !! The Pinot kitchen cupboards are looking very sorry for themselves at the moment, I really must get my act together and hit A£di.LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
