I got some individual French herb coated salami's today £.49 down to 99p and a huge chunk of pepper coated french salami down to £5.00 a kilo so I got nearly half a kilo for £4.23. There were marked down organic chicken packs and shoulders of lamb but only a third off when I was there around 5.15pm so I left those as the freezer is groaning at the moment. This was Sainsbugs
Went on to Tesc* in search of more whisk*s and had a look there, I must say that in my area the Sainsbugs has a far better class of YS's and its much neater and easier to see what's what. I guess this makes me a whoopsie snob.:pI was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly

I went again to morries at lunchtime but no sign of the SA with the precious gun:D loads of 50p off reduced items which people looked at, sniffed at and left:rotfl: my new vow is to find a whole heap of ys in one shop and buy the lot so I don't have to keep going back into supermarkets and hoping:rotfl::D0

Went to Mr T tonight looking for Whiskas catfood (they had none of the offer ones left so got price promise voucher instead) and happened to time it just right for the marking down.
Got:
Lamb steaks down from £4 to 44p
6 packs of diced chicken breast reduced from £6 each to 66p
Salmon fillets down from £6.71 to 72p
Salmon fillets down from £5.80 to 64p
Cheese stuffed meatballs reduced from £4.50 to 50p
2pk ciabatta 34p
Organic Topside beef joint down from £9.49 to £1.03
6 med free range eggs down to 14p
shared it with a few other people and our freezer is crying! Could have got lots more but no way can we squeeze it in. Not had a haul like that for absolutely ages.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

4 blocks for gruyere for 55p each - I love gruyere but its so expensive - will grate and freeze
fennel bulb and a pack of meatballs plus a loaf of bread.
Not much but the cheese makes up for it!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Well i thought i was being smart but it backfired! I was in MrT tonight and seen packs of smoked salmon reduced down to £2 each. they were marked with 3 for £10 sticker. I thought if had got 3 then i woudl get the £2 saving taken off. Wrong! So i spent £6 on smoked salmon i didnt really need! What a numpty. Learned my lesson (again!) not to go for something just because it has a yellow sticker!!!June GC £130.93/£150Wedding Date Set 13th October 2012 :T0

Tescos same again at 5.45 - everythng far too expensive on YS however the KEn Hom ready meal down from £3 something to 80p and pack of mini pasties down to 45p for £1.77. I think I am just going to carry on like this until I am in the right place at the right time for a lovely meat haul. I wonder why they mark some stuff down more than others as some things in the same fridge were only reduced by 50p.
Well done on some of your meat bargains-very impressed!!!Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.0 -
Well I now must have the biggest supply of cured meat in the Midlands:p I got four packets of parma ham in Sainsbugs last night for 20p each marked down from £1.75 - there were quite a lot but I did practise restraint, and then got a whole 1.3kg French Salami off the deli counter for just over £3, but I have split that with MIL and my neighbour. I did actually debate going back and buying the second one they had there but was running late so let common sense (and a full freezer) prevail.:D
I also got some more cheese from the deli counter, a Cornish strong cheddar for £4 a kilo. I've noticed that they often have cheese at this kind of price on the deli so well worth looking.I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly

Got my seconds freezer 2 weeks ago and am loving filling it up!
Got some nice meat in ASDA yesterday, though not the epic bargains most here manage to findBut my best find was a whole palette of Warburton's Sandwich Thins. Hubby loves these for his packed lunch and they are normally about £1.25 a pack. The packets were all reduced to 28p. I managed to restrain myself and only buy 5 packs, but that's 6 weeks lunches sorted.

I dropped into sainsbugs around 5.45pm this afternoon and got four packets of organic chicken thighs and drumsticks down to £1.30 from £3.50 each and some angus burgers for £1.40 instead of £2.20 not ahuge reduction but we really like them. I also got quite a few fancy bread bits for 35p or 40p each:croissants, pershwari naans and olive ciabatta. They did have some ordinary loaves down to 20p and 15p but we eat very little bread so like to have special ones. I had hoped to get some good fruit and veg bits but the chap was taking forever to collect them all up and then went off to work on one of the tills so I gave up.I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly
