  • OK so another 1.5 pounds off at WW yesterday so pleased as thats now 10.5 pounds.

Had chat with OH last night as MSE has slipped a bit recently and really need to get myself sorted.

Finally heard back from Ll**** re PPI on my CC, they say they didn't mi sell so I have now gone to the ombudsman and they say they believe I have a case but it could take up to 18 months

In the meantime I have spoke to my DMP people and have agreed that I will continue to pay the same amount as last year. As I cleared 4 creditors with my PPI settlement all the remaining have had an increase in the amount paid.

Also as L***** as the main creditor they will be the ones who have to wait

Right its a lovely sunny day so off to get some air, have a good day all

Well done on the weight loss.

Good luck with the PPI claim

Great news re the DMP payments staying the same. Should mean your DFD is even closer

I find logging in and posting every day helps me focus on my £saving. Sometimes it's just a ramble, other days it a marathon, (this weekend for example). Whilst not always re £saving, (again this weekend :o), it helps me work towards my goals.

Lots of love and support Granny x

  • So back to WW today another 1.5 pound lost so really pleased. Have reached my first 5% of body weight and can honestly say feel better for it.:j:j:j

On the MSE front I was angry this mornng to receive a letter from one of the DCA for one of the creditors that I reached a settlement with in July. They now have the cheek to be chasing me for the balance left after the settlement figure was paid.:mad:

I havwe sent an emailto my DMP advisor as to what is my nest course of action (Im tempted to call and give someone an ear bashing but probably not a good idea)

Off out tonight for diiner and an ABBA tribute band so hopefully will get some excercise doing my dancing Queen.......catch up soon :D:D

Well I have been away for a number of months for various reasons.

The main one is that my darling mum passed away in November and have spent the past few months sorting out her affairs. She was a bit of a shopaholic and I have had a large number of creditors to deal with, as well as arranging a funeral and looking after my dad. He lives about 3 hours away so not the easiest of tasks after a week of working in London and then home to travel up to him.
Now in January things are improving and he is now going to drive to us next weekend.

On the MSE front thing have not been great.

OH , who works shifts, car decided to give up the ghost a week before Christmas  and the money we had saved towards a break for us had to go on a new (well second, or was it fifth hand) car. The blow me down if between Christmas and New Year my car decides to break down ...more expense :eek:

So now at the end of January I am going to try and get my mind set back to MSE, back on WW and give myself the proverbial kick up the bum to sort myself out.

I have been keeping up with lots of my friends diaries on here but not really posting and hope that we all have a good 2013.

One bit of semi good news is that the Financial ombudsman have written to say they are upholding my claim against L***** now I just have to wait to see what they reply so fingers crossed.

Right I know my diary title talks about 2012 being my year (don't know how to amend a title, if anyone does please let me know) but I really hope that things will get better this year and however long this journey takes for all of us.

    love to all

Hello my dear, nice to see you posting and hope things are looking a bit brighter now.

To change your thread title, go into your diary, I opened my 1st post in my diary to check it works, so this may be the best one to choose) and choose Edit, then go advanced. This brings up the thread title as well , which you should then be able to change.

Let me know if you need further help

Big hugs and lots of love Granny x
