    Hello NRA

Sounds like you have been having a bit of time of it, hope all is ok and sorting itself out slowly x

Good news about DGD coming to stay but agree you will probably need a break after so that is a good plan.

Great news on the PPI cheques finally clearing and fingers crossed to being able to clear some of the smaller ones, that seems the most sensible idea.

Hope you had a nice birthday and treated yourself a bit.

Anyway, off to make stirfry for tea. Nice to see you back, even if you disappear for a bit again. Talk again soon.

Well diary and all it has been yet another week since I posted. Where do the days keep going??

New laptop arrived on Monday and some of the IT have put some things on for me at work which is great :j OH has decided he likes the new games on it, (it kept him amused for over an hour the other night :rotfl:

Work has been manic this week as my friend has had a week off so a few late nights and early mornings.

Been shopping this morning and feeling quite pleased with myself. Its my Dad's bday soon and went to buy DVD from As** on sale at £12.97, they didnt have it so went to Sainsbugs and got it for £9.99. Then went to Argos to get him a printer cartridge, full price £23.00, in sale @ £18.99 and then found out I had £2.50 on Nec*** card so only cost £16.49.

Then went to garden centre for a coffe (naughty me) bought friend some crossword puzzle books and had £2.50 garden club vouchers so saved again :j:j

So not a bad morning. I should be sitting here doing some work I bought home last night, but decided to catch up on the diaries instead :p

My Love 2 shop vouchers finally arrived this week, and nice surprise it was £15 ( I had thought it was only £10) so that's away towards Xmas.:j:j

Going to see parents tomorrow as they have a child gate for me to use when DGS comes to stay next weekend. I am sooo excited (if a little nervous hehe).

We are going out to lunch tomorrow as Its Dad's bday soon and I will be away.

My car went in for Mot this week and failed 1st time  over a tyre that was on the wrong way round!!!!

Now I'm a lady and how would I know which way round a tyre goes (didn't know they had different ways) and whenever they have been changed its been by a garage or tyre place. Anyway never mind all sorted and Mot in place for another year.

Heard from O***** again this week re my new line, it appears BT have finally sorted it but now need engineer to come into house to put box in, and wait for it, first available appointment is 25th July!!!!. We have been trying to get this put in since 8th March :mad:so once sorted I feel a letter coming on (to coin Mrs Pinot)
Just a good job we didn't cancel V***** in the begining don't you think.

Right off to mooch on a couple more diaries then I must get some work done, oh some housework :D

    Have a good weekend all

OMg its been ages since I came to see you, Im so sorry !!

Yey for the time you will get to spend soon with your DGS. Bet his Nanna is so excited ! Cant wait to hear all about your time together. How lovely of you to organise a break for your daughter.

And you are off to Cornwall, where abouts. Its my favourite place , I think I have told you that before though ! I'm desperate for a break, however short but not sure if we wil manage it before October, when we are going to cornwall, come rain or shine. Thats our only week we promise ourselves each year !

We havent had any hedehogs this year, which is a shame as I was looking forward to seeing them as was DD2. We keep looking and there have been some strange noises at night in the garden which I did wonder if they were hedghogs or foxes, I'm not too good with animal stuff !!

Saw on Grannys diary you are working those long hours again, you make sure your look after yourself.

    Hi All

Well I am officially shattered, DGS arrived yesterday. I drove to London, picked up DD , BF and DgS, drve them coast then bought DGS home.

He slept quite well last night, then back to coast today as his mum ad dad wanted to take him to the beach for the first time. Back from there to do the shopping and he feel asleep. Woke him at 6.30 not interested in dinner so back to bed at 8. Woke at 9 with the pooiest nappy ( Im sure they could smell it in Scotland) so up for another play and have just put him down with a bottle hopefully for the night. OH has gone to bed to read his book saying he is shattered lol :rotfl:

Tomorrow OH needs to do stuff in his mums garden so DGS and I going shopping for my break in Cornwall next week and may meet a friend for coffee.

On the hedgehog front, OH was in the garden on Wednesday night and heard a commotion next door. It appears there dog had nabbed one of the hogs. After a fretful night, (OH up every hour to check on hog who he had put in a box with a towel and hot water bottle (for the shock), he took hog to rescue centre on Thursday morning and damage not as bad as feared. However we thought this was the lady hog but was in fact the male and a big boy too at 900grams  (He was 500 when we got him back just before Xmas) They will keep him for a week and we will collect after our break.

OH a bit worried as little girl hog not out much the past few days but hopefully she will make an appearance soon.

Right off for quick look round other diaries before I get to bed, no idea what time I will be woken in the morning. Take care all

    Crikey

Have been mooching on all your diaries even when I was away and have realised I haven't posted for ages.

Had a wonderful weekend with DGS , he is such a happy little boy bt it was nice to take him back to mummy and daddy on the Monday. Dropped them at our local station so they could go back to London and OH and I made our way to Cornwall.

The original place we booked was not good (the least said the better. other than I must do a letter of complaint) and we left after 2 days and went to stay in a beautiful country Inn on Exmoor. I do confess that I was not very MSE whilst we were away (it was a huge shock when I reconiled the spreasdsheets when we got back ) but having been paid yesterday I am now firmly back in MSE mode.

I know I have previously mentioned that I had some money for my PPI and had contacted P**Pl** about it. My normal account manager put me in touch with the settlements team who have now gone back to the creditors to see if I can clear some of then with 50% settlements. As at yesterday one has agreed, so we wait for the others. I had agreed in the meantime to keep paying the creditors the monthly amount, so was not happy when I had some letters this week telling me that they had not been paid for July . Have sent an email and now been told this will be rectified, but a little worried that it may affect what the settlements team are trying to do.

I am still chasing L***** for my CC PPI, after contacting them in June and being told it was still being looked at and they would get back to me I decided to give them a chase up call this week. Phoned usual number to be told the number had changed, called the new one and after a drawn out discussion discovered I was talking to someone in the Phillipines :mad: Not a happy bunny so have sent another letter to L***** to complain.

I think if I don't get a reply will send my information to the Ombudsman.

We are hoping that finally BT will install my new line this week and then I get O***** to send me a router for the BBand. Had a call from V***** this week to say as It had already taken so long (since March) was I sure I didn't want to change my mind. Asked the man what they could offer and he said £30.00 to £35.00 a month to which my reply was why would I go for that when I could save almost half with the new provider... honestly don't these people get it !!!

OH at work today and I have already cooked a few bits and pieces this morning. He start his Olympic shifts next week including night shifts so I am trying to make meals he can take and put in the micro.

Right I am going for a quick look around the other diaries and then have some work to do. Going to do the dreaded ironing about 6.30 as there is an Indiana Jones film on, yes I know its bit sad but its a bit of escapism for me.

    Have a good weekend all
