Feeling a bit low tonight, have to admit have had a few glasses (bottles ) of wine
Should have been at a friends hen night, but have felt old/fat (most of the girls 20+) so declined.
Lady hog finally appeared in the garden so OH happy.
Really need to get my life in order both financially as well as on a personal level.

Think I will go to bed and try to get a good nights sleep.

    Sleep well all

Oh dear, I know that feeling well but we are silly to ourselves aren't we. There is nothing quite like money worries to make you question other parts of your life. Hope the good night's sleep made you feel better this morning

    Bless you Granny

Hope you are feeling better, did you get some more AB's?

Had just logged on to see what silly self absorbed rubbish I had written last night.
Note to self drinking too much wine is NOT good :o

Feeling better today apart from the fact I bit all my fingernails last night (and I had been so proud that I hadn't done that for over 7 weeks). Never mind the sun is shining and we are going out to get some gas for the BBQ and a walk round the country park to blow the cobwebs away.

    Have a good day

Well now I'm even more convinced you are me than I was before.

Feeling old/fat and therefore refusing to go out with girly friends - check

Biting off all finger nails after weeks of looking after them - check

Hope you have a good day in the sun. I'm feeling a bit better this morning but still going to go back to the doctors tomorrow. See if he thinks I need more ABs. Only finished last lot on Friday evening so couldn't get more before tomorrow.

Talk later, off to grab DGDs for some Granny fun

Sorry NRA, I feel as though I have been neglecting you as I ahvent really popped in properly for a while.

Sorry you were feeling so low t=yesterday and rge Cornwakk break wast as good as planned.

You are good, making dinners for OH while he is doing his Olympic shifts. Will he make it home in the evenings or staying in London or wherever he will for the duration. I managed to get tickets to take the girks to Hyde Park and Victoria PArk for some of the free events going on overt he next few weeks. They are pretty excited,

Anyway, I am going to try and get some sleep now before I need to get back up. Not posted on my own diary since my slightly miserable one on Saturday morning so will do big long update int he morning ! xx

Crikey it has been a while since I sat down and posted properly

So what have I been up to. Well I do look at everyone's diaries every day, as I have mentioned before normally on the early morning commute but do confess I have not posted a great deal lately.

Work has been mega busy and with the holiday season and the Olympics in full flow the next few weeks will not be any different.
OH has started his olympic rota and we haven't seen a great deal this past week or so as he is off when I am working and vice versa. To that end I have booked Monday and Tuesday off as he then starts 5 nights ( so I really wont see him) to try and get a little time together.

The hedgehog hospital called on Thursday to say our little boy hog is now well enough to come home, not sure what lady hog will think as she has been getting all the food for the past 2 weeks;) but it will be nice to have them both back. Lady hog has been looking bigger but we are still not sure if that is a sign that hoglets are on the way. So Monday morning we will driving down to fetch him.

On the MSE front I have good news. As I had mentioned I managed to get some PPI money back and went to my DMP peple with the good news. Their settlements team contacted all the creditors with offers and then came back to let me know what had been accepted.
The good news is I have managed to clear 4... yes 4 of my creditors some by 50% settlements and some a bit more so I am really chuffed to say the least :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j (Does it show)
I am still fighting the dreaded L****s :mad: for my CC PPI and have not heard from them since May when it was supposedly sent to their after care team :mad: If this is after care thank god I'm not really ill.

As they have been so obstructive it will not come as a surprise that they didnt want to do much of a settlement deal so they are the main ones I am still left with, however I am still going to pay the same amount to Payplan every month so the ones that are left get a bigger slice of the cherry :p

It also means I have cut the time to DFD and it should now be about 4 and half years :j:j

Also today I have decided to once and for all bite the bullet and have joined weight watchers. I know its not very MSE but since I saw the nutritionist from the hospital I have struggled to motivate myself and I really do need to lose this weight. So I have joined a Saturday club, which means I will go as I wont have to rush back to the office (if it was lunch time) or be starving hungry (if it was after work). They seem a nice group of ladies ( I know guys go to but not today) and I have taken out a monthly pass to encourage me to go every week as I dont want to waste money ;).

So here's to a happier, healthier and leaner lifestyle (both MSE and weight wise)

Cheers all have a great weekend :beer::beer: (Oops that actually 3 points per glass of wine or 1/2 lager) :rotfl:

Just a quick post as I am feeling rather proud of myself, (I know pride comes before a fall).

Now although I work on a computer all day I am not the most enlightened when it comes to technical stuff.

Anyway new router arrived this week from O***** and I needed to get it all set up. Started on the laptop and that was a doddle, when I tried to do the desktop couldn't work out what was wrong so called tech support an realised its not WIFI enabled. Trip to pc world this morning and hey presto I now have wireless desktop and laptop.

Oh and all this is going to be half the price I paid with V***** :j:j

Right off to do some housework, have a good day all.

Sunshine and showers here, hope it stops at some point as my poor old car really needs a wash :p

    Thanks Granny

Felling very chuffed as I went to WW this morning and have lost 4 pounds, not bad as I have had 3 eating out days this week... One of my girls at work is getting married so went out to celebrate.

Are you seeing DGD's this weekend?

    Take care
