Hi Mrs P
Lol confession time, didn't get round to making the cake so got him a shop bought caterpillar cake (like a choccie swiss roll) which he seemed to like.
Haven't been around much as been away so will catch up properly on your diary (had a few peeks and looks like it has been busy)
Look after yourself, take care

Well I havent been on a for a few days so update time......hope I don't bore you.
Saw DGS , DD and OH on Wednesday for DGS 1st brithday. He is such a wonderful little boy (yes I know I would say that because he is my DGS) but he is so good. DD starts a new job tomorrow and I think she is dreading being away from him.
Still have not heard from the BT surveyor and no more work has been done so that will be the first phone call of the day tomorrow:mad:.
Also had the bill from V*r*i* online today and nearly choked on my coffee £62.00:eek::eek::eek:. I had forgotten that I had changed the times for making free calls from 7to 7 rather than 6 to 6, plus they have put up their charges. This is why I have to get the Orange stuff sorted pronto.
On the PPI front I rang Payplan and said what should I get L***** to do about paying it over and they suggested I callled them which I did.
So I explain to the lady on the phone I am on a DMP and have no access to the account they propose to pay the money into. She says But the account is open and running. I explain I never had a card for this particular account(I used it for all the DDR's) and now they have taken away interenet access, so can I have a cheque.
The lady replies that I still owe money, so I say fine deduct the £700'ish to pay this account and send me the balance.
Oh thats another department and she is not sure they will do that but will send them an email:eek::eek:. I ask can she give me the other department email address or phone number and she says they are not allowed to contact customers directly.
So the upshot is I have to wait till the end of May to see if I get a cheque, and I dont even have a way of finding out how the money will be distributed.:mad:
Needless to say having now had time to think about it I am going to call back tomorrow and find out if there is any feedback to my request. If not I will ask, No I will demand to speak to a manager until I get a straight answer and point out if I dont get my money I will charge them interest!! I also tried to re-apply for internet banking to day using the detail given to me and it does not recognise my details:mad::mad:. Any wonder I am mad, going round in circles.
I have also received another call re PPI on my CC with L*****, different letter. The chap asked if I was sure I would have got sick pay, so I laughed and said as I had been ill for the past six weeks and been paid what did he think!!! So I should about that soon so fingers crossed.
Went to visit the parents yesterday and stayed overnight,it was lovely to see them as I had not done so since before Christmas!
I left very early yesterday as OH was working, driving along quite happily and suddenly thought why am I on the A1 Potters bar, should be on the M11...:rotfl::rotfl:, had missed the turn off soon resolved and still got there before 9am.
OH at work again today so should be doing loads of houswork:o, have been to Mr A for a couple of bits and some silver polish. Mum and dad have given me on of their old tea sets in silver but it needs a really really good scrub up. Going to have a catch up on the diaries later but think I should get on with the ironing for now.
Hope all are keeping well and the sun is out wherever you are.

Crikey just realised I have not been on my diary for nearly a week, so what have I been up to?
I did get round to polishing up the lovely tea set mum and dad gave me and it has come up a treat.
It has been really hectic on the work front and I have been very tired most evenings, not helped this week by the normal monthly things that we ladies suffer and it has knocked me out for most of the weekend.
On the money front I have heard from the L***** CC with a letter not upholding my claim, needless to say I was not happy with that so a letter was typed late on Thursday night and sent off by recorded delivery on Friday. I await their response.!!
BT have finally put the line into the house I now await the engineer next week to actually put the line in and then O***** to sort out the router, and then I hope smaller bills.
Good news this week we have finally seen one of our little hedgehogs that we got back from the rescue centre last year. We saw one of them feeding last night and have just been out in the garden and "she" is there again, so cute and not bothered by us at all.
Im sorry I have been away from all the other diaries, I have been checking normally on my phone on the train and I will get round to replying to folks at some point.

You sound as though you have been hectic NRA. I think alot of us have been behind ont he diaries though recently for one reason or another.
Its lovely that you have seen one of the hedghogs. We rescued 3 last year and took them to the centre. How did you get them back or is it a daft question ? Did they ask you if you wanted them put back in your garden or did you have to ask them ? I didnt even think of it really. DD2 would have loved to be able to see them again, they really were so lovely and tiny. I keep looking out for some in the garden but we havent seen anything so far this year.
Good on you for goign back to L*** again re the letter. Was that the PPI ? Mine has ended up with FOS and they were arguing over about £100 but I still thought it worth a try !!
So sorry to hear you have been feeling grotty, hope to hear that you are feeling better soon xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hello Mrs P
There is a little story about our hedgehogs. Late lt year we heard a terrible noise from out the front of the house and discovered a cat and a fox arguing over a poor little hog who had curled in a ball and was screaming for all he was worth. After shooing the cat and the fox away we wrapped the hog in a towel and the next morning OH called a local rescue centre. They gave him the phone number of a local volunteer who he took hog to.
She called a bit later in the day and we stayed in touch. About 5 weeks later they called to say would we like our hog ( a boy ) and a little girl hog.
Bought them home and when we let them out they ran under our decking in the back garden. Apparently they wont stay together and I think we now have the girl back as the boys are known to wonder further afield.
Last night OH was standing on the decking waiting for her to come out of her normal entrance and she came up behind him on the decking!! He was quite surprised to say the least.:rotfl:
I heard from L***** re my reply today telling me it has been sent to their "aftercare" department:(, whatever that is supposed to be so yet again I wait and see.
Hope you are having a good weekend and that things are getting better as I know you have been through the mill a bit lately.
Going to really try and catch up the diaries tonight, OH is watching the footie so lenty of time on the pc for me.
take care
love

Well another busy week at work, I try to look at the diaries every day on my phone on the way to work but have had very little time to actually catch up with everyone in full so must do that tonight.
Busy day, been out for a little shopping (payday not till Monday). Went to a new A**** which has opened locally and was quite good. Will have to go back again after Monday;)
As I said to Mrs P had a reply from L***** basically telling me they have received my letter and sent it to yet another department so we shall see.
I should receive my cheque(s) for my upheld claims soon, hope so I want to see my debts start to disappear.
This has been a hard couple of weeks as I lent some money to DD (basically my buffer fund) so have been very careful with the pennies and hoping that the petrol gauge on my car wouldn't hit red light  It didn't so all good
Was a little naughty this week as we have a company called the book event come into our building at work. I went out for some fresh air and promised myself I would not look at the books and certainly wouldn't buy one.....wrong.
I couldn't help myself when I saw a book on crochet so I did buy it , it was £4, and I have told myself that I must make some things for Xmas pressies so it will pay for itslef. (well thats my way of thinking anyway :rotfl:)
I have got Monday off as BT are finally coming to put the new line in, so hope to catch up with a few things this weekend including catching up with everyone's diaries.
See you soon

I am NOT a happy bunny :mad::mad::mad: No sign of engineer so called O***** to find out what was happening.
It appears that BT's computer system cancelled my appointment but didnt bother telling anyone so I have been stuck in doors all morning having taken a days leave for nothing :mad::mad::mad:
Now I have to wait for another week whilst they try to get another appt.
So now I am off out to do the shopping (its payday) and will come back later, by which time I hope to have calmed down. Heaven help anyone who upsets me going round the shops :rotfl:
See you later

Ok so I have calmed down, a little. Having said that I have just read Mrs P diary which puts me to shame (Sorry Mrs P).
Have been shopping (how did I spend nearly £50.00 and what do I have to show for it), came home and the sun is out so that is all good.
Need to get organised for work tomorrow but will come back later for updates on everyone's diaries.
