Ok so first FULL day back to work today, and I am absolutely shattered

The to cap it all the train home was only 7 carriages instead of 10, what are they thinking of, it's school holidays and all the little darlings are on the trains as well:p (As a regular commuter this is not a good subject to get me started on :p)

Anyway quite pleased with what I achieved in the office today and also pleased that I had some LO lamb from Sunday to make a very easy dinner tonight.

Had a chat with DD earlier, I have not seen her or DGS since the New Year due to being ill but I'm thinking of going up at the weekend. I have really missed them and need to start building myself up again as far as driving is concerned.

I am becoming quite a hermit and its not good for me :naughty:

I am a bit annoyed with myself as I didnt get round to putting anything on fleabay... procrastination has to STOP.

Right off to catch up on a few diaries before dinner and then before you know it, it will be bedtime:rotfl:

    Take care all

OK day 3 back at work and I am shattered:sad:. Not in the office tomorrow and hoping to go visit my DD and DGS.:j

Weather has been yuck tonight but have been to Mr A to do the shopping. Got a nice joint of pork which I will cut into 3 or 4 pieces
so a good few meals from that.:D

Bad news today as OH car went in to garage and the part we had got from the breakers...doesnt fit:mad:
As MOT is now due we have had to buy new part, for £260.00 and that doesn't include the labour, so more money to find:eek::eek:

I may not be on for a day or so but will try to catch up on Saturday
    so keep well everyone

  • Hi NRA, sorry to hear about the expensive car repairs, :( it's a shame the part from the wreckers didn't fit.

I hope you have a great time visiting DD and DGS. I bet they'll be thrilled to see you. :D

Hi Mrs P and Mrs Fluffy

Have had a lovely time with DD and DGS. He is growing so fast and I am sad that I haven't seen him for nearly 4 months

I slept in his room and have to admit did not get much sleep as he talks in his sleep ....a lot. I think next time I might take the sofa:rotfl:

I had sent a letter on my return to work to the train company that I get my season ticket from to obtain a refund for the period I was off sick. I had a reply yesterday, which makes me think some people just cant read.

I had to fill in a form and send copies of all my sick notes which I duly did.
What they have not realised is that as I as admitted to hospital some of the certificates overlap but they have not read them properly so cant see that. So I have now sent another letter detailing the dates covered for each sick note, honestly I do wonder sometimes!!!

Went out this morning to get some pressies for one of my BF little boys. It is their birthdays over the next 2 weekends so had to get the pressies wrapped and parceled up ready to send tomorrow.

The cars are all sorted now, the end result for OH car was £540.00:eek: so that has really eaten away at the car fund (basically nothing left ouch). Just have to hope nothing else goes wrong.

I am at work 4 days this week, have seen the weather not too clever so not looking forward to that.:(

Right I need to get over to catch up on all the diaries, have done some surveys today so hope to get more points soon.

    Take care

    love NRA xxxx

Well I haven't been on properly for a few days mainly due to being absolutely shattered after work. I didn't really help myself yesterday as I bought work home and didn't finish till just before 10.00pm.

Finally got my new bank card at the weekend after the fraud before Easter and a new PIN has now arrived which is handy so I can now use the card :)

On the money saving front have finally got the code for my Amazon voucher from Swa*****s which I will save towards Xmas. Still going strong with the surveys and I am trying to do at least one a day (as Del boy say one day we will be millionaires, in Amazon vouchers maybe:rotfl:)

Tomorrow is my last day in the office this week which is good and its Payday on Friday so need to make sure all the spreadsheets are up to date. Also check the cupboards ready for a shop on Friday. Still need to update my Grocery Challenge figures but I think I have scrapped in under budget ......Just !!

Spoke to my parents tonight and hope to pay them a visit next bank holiday which will be nice as I haven't seen them since before Xmas.

Need to Contact Or**ge again as we are still waiting for BT to put a line in so we can get cheaper phone and BBand, we have been waiting since 8th March so I think they have had long enough now.
It would make a difference of nearly £30.00 a month so you can see why I am keen (oh and I should be getting £50.00 M&S vouchers):D

Right I have been waffling so will get off, finish reading a couple more diaries and catch up with everyone soon.

Really not sure what I'm doing for the weekend, will pm you later.

Will try to catch up with your diary later, hope you and the girls are keeping well.
