Well today the Guardianship allowance was not paid. So I have had to chase that up.
The MRI scan has been faxed to the local doctors, and I am going to ring up on Wednesday to see if someone has read it. I had to chase, and get the receptionist at the practise to chase on my behalf, as the MRI scan was in February this is rediculous really.
I tried to do some gardening yesterday, and have put myself back a bit, hurting my back! Idiot that i am.
I have stayed close to home today, just picking up a few bits at the Tesco corner shop as the weather is so foul and I just didnt want to go far.
I tried to sleep this afternoon but the new neighbours started to drill. But they didnt do it all in one quick go, there was about 15 minutes between each session, so as I nodded off, they started again! grrrrr.
My latest craft magazine arrived this morning, with a free purse kit, so I made that this afternoon. I would have made more, but I ran out of time, while I had help with DGD and then she wouldnt leave me in peace to do anythingelse.
DGD has a sore throat today, and I have had to give her some paracetamol medicine. I will need to keep an eye on her I think.
DS has not been paid. No surprise there.. He did go to the local pubs in the area and leave his CV as there was one advertising for staff, but he did a few others as well. He no longer has his mobile working, as it was my ex's. The contract has run out and needs a new sim card.
Twin1 had DGD for me for a few hours yesterday afternoon. She took her to see her sister. I was not impressed with the state of the bathroom at twin2's. But she had pointed out that she had finally sorted out her bedroom!. I had to be pleased with that.
I am continuing to put 10% of any income into the savings account, and anything in the account over £500. Although when the credit card bill comes in, I may have to transfer some out again. We will see.
Am waiting to hear the cost of the side gate, hopefully I will not make too much of a hole in the savings pot, but if I do, then I will just have too. Its an important thing.
I also chased up the Invoices for the Petrol for March/April. Still outstanding. Some £167 I think it was? Grrrrr. The council is so bad at paying out.
I havent made an appointment for my hair this week. Must do that tomorrow or the week will be over.
Next week I am on holiday with Biggest of Mooloo and the two granddaughters. Lets hope the weather improves.
EXBF has been in touch, we have talked on the phone a few times, but at this precise time I am not considering any return to the past. I have had enough punishment for a while. Emotionally too drained to be bothering.
Think thats me up to date.
Catch up soon. Dont get the laptop as much as sharing with DS at the moment. Which is good as its giving me back some time in the day.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

And have you told him this? And that once you've sorted out the bits and pieces you mentioned a few posts back, you really don't need to hear from him again? Honestly, I can't help wondering whether he won't wheedle you back into the 'relationship' when it suits him again.

Well we are talking, but disagreeing. I think its tying up loose ends I suppose. But we cant see eye to eye on some things. So unless that was resolved then there is a no go barrier.
I wouldnt say I am happy, I would just say that I am tired of it all.

Today the SGA was in, thats a relief.
Still got to sort out DS's JSA though before I can go back to the council and claim my council tax benefits etc again. So annoying.
Thoughts of throttling DS comes to mind.
He did surface around 5pm to go and take his CV to a few of the local pubs and ask for some work. Got told that one had just hired, that the others landlord was on holiday, but one did say that they were possibly in need of someone, but havent advertised it yet. So fingers crossed that they will want someone and then we wouldnt have to deal with JSA, but possibly income support to make up his money if he doesnt get the right amount of hours. We will just have to hope that something will turn up soon for him.
He continues to do his computer course though.

I am tired, DGD was crying in the night alot, in her sleep. She has a bad throat today, so we are going to the doctors at 9.50, and so no Nursery.
This afternoon we have babysitting for the other granddaughter.
All fun and games around here.

Sounds like having your son move back in is turning into a huge headache and costing you financially and emotionally yet again. I know he's only young, but he chose to leave education, so he must step up and be a responsible adult. That's only going to happen with hard work.

Ended up doing a dash to the jobcentre before babysitting DGD2.!
now he has to sign in again tomorrow too, and every week from now on. That will leave him with even less money to live on, as its not cheap to get to town from here!. If you can even get a bus that connects. So unless I take him, I cannot see him going, and then he will loose his funding again. Stupid boy didnt even ask if he would get his money for missing sign on last week. I hate to know what story he brought up to say why he didnt go, as I dont believe it would have been the truth!. He makes me so cross.
His sister had a go at him as he was with me looking after DGD2. She told him he had to go and get a job. I showed him where there is a jobagency in the town, but he read the board outside and said that it was for jobs with qualifications! Argh......
Yes its costing me, emotionally as well as financially.
Luckily I have been living as frugally as I could for such a long time that there is still money in the bank, and I am covering my bills, as well as getting some savings up. All the ups and downs have really made me so aware of how the money needs to stretch and to not rely on each payment arriving on time.
I still wish that I was in a position to go and work. Maybe one day.
Definitely not fit enough at the moment, neck, arm are not good today. infact I could say they are the worst they have been in quite some weeks.
    :(
Been surfing the net this afternoon since I got back, looking at sewing tutorials and ideas for my next creations.

Still communicating with EXBF, my choice. Some of the things that should have been sorted out years ago are coming up. Interesting answers and opinions, etc and worth my attention at the moment. Lots for me to think about anyway. As he is doing. Lots of soul searching between us I think.
As I am away next week, with Biggest of Mooloo and the two girls, I will have plenty of time to think about what I want for my future and where/how I am going to get there.

I have been let down by a fellow MSE'r for not paying for some bunting that I had made for her. Pity. It was my fault that I didnt wait for funds to arrive first. Its the first time that I have been let down, without even a reply or appology. Dispite a few reminding notes.
I will learn my lesson now. Nothing to be sent until its been paid for, and the funds cleared.:o

Maybe that mention will be enough to prompt payment - otherwise name & shame when you return from your holiday.

    Rubbish - name and shame!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I will name and shame if I dont hear back an appology and some problem which stopped them after the holiday.
Molly I may well tell you a bit later when we try and get together for a cuppa. Somewhere along the line we need to fit that in. Appart from seeing you at the doctors I havent seen you in a few weeks I dont think. Waving at the door doesnt count!!!

I'm not sure I would encourage Mooloo to name and shame. Remember:

    Okay Sue.
Mind you there is a few parts of that rule that would have stopped things like Mikes Mob, and the Nonny Mouse, etc that have all been good things.
I appologies that I have obviously broken the rules rather a lot then, as I have had help/gifts and chatted via PM's.
Didnt several of us exchange information by meeting up in Bristol?
Oh well, I do suppose there is a fine divide line, and I probably wouldnt have had the balls to have named anyway! They know who they are, and they will be the ones having to live with the guilt that they have deprived me of funds that I could do with. In this case although I used recycled fabric for some of it, I had bought things to use as I didnt have the right colours. So I was going to be out of pocket anyway.!

Right time to get on. Busy day again.
Every time I want to have a restful week, it ends up buisier then the last! I need to be better at my time management. Mind you that will depend on my family not making demands, and me not running to the rescue.
Maybe a few weeks away would do the trick!
Catch up later, its councilling today, as well as getting my hair washed and dried at the hairdressers. My arm is not good.
Been typing far too much and thats not helped me either.
