Not very good at this, are you?
DSG bought a 75% (therefore controlling) stake in 2006
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2006/apr/13/retail1
I'm reliably told it's much higher than this now (by someone who worked in DSG HO until recently)
Heck, DSG even list it on their corporate website as one of their brands!

i will call my contact at Pixmania a liar then, because what the press say and a so called member of MSE.
DSG are a shareholder and have no day to day dealings with Pixmania. if DSG become shareholders of any company they list them as one of their brands0 -

But DSG also say on their website as the poster has pointed out
"PIXmania is a pan-European electrical e-tailer operating in 26 countries.
PIXmania has been growing its market positions across Europe while leveraging the benefits of being part of the Dixons Retail Group."

I prefer 'misinformed' myself - but your choiceif DSG become shareholders of any company they list them as one of their brands
source? Not being funny, but if DSG only had a minority share and then publicly claimed it to be their brand, do you not think Pixmenia would be just a little peeved about it?! Think about that one for a moment before you reply.
End of the day, but I've made my claim - backed it up with fairly robust evidence, and your only come back is 'my contact says so'
it's weak, at best0 -
Perhaps Dixons were lying then?

pis5mania is a better description, imo.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Definitely one for the avoid list, I was aware of them at least 8 years ago so nothing has changed

well in 4 yrs they have provided a great service for me, every order has been delivered on time. the only downfall i find is their delivery charges are a bit high, but i work these into my retail charges.
maybe their dropship arm Pixmania-PRO are run differently to their retail arm Pixmania0 -

Well after my one experience with them I would not recommend them to my worst enemy, they are useless as can be seen by the numerous complaints in the thread I linked to.0
