Thuggest otherwise
Isn't the whole point of this sub-forum about people sharing their experiences with companies? Are you going to go around asking everyone to substantiate their opinion with evidence?
To be honest, everything has gone out the window with this thread. You have person after person lying about the ownership of the company, yet the mods just let it happen.0 -

No-one is lying - and no-one is yet to provide anything to substantiate that they're NOT owned by DSGi - save for 1 alleged email from customer service rep - which makes little sense anyway.
On the other hand, there has plenty of evidence that it IS owned by DSGi.
And here is another...
by law, a pulicly trading company (such as DSGi) as to publish its accounts & make trading statements etc.
Have a look at THIS page on the Dixons corporate website.
Open the first PDF listed. It even includes Pixmania as it's own entry on their LEGALLY REQUIRED finance records!
Let me I'm still lying.0 -
Funny how you only joined yesterday, with 24hrs of Texranger being PPR'd!
pretty sure creating a new account when you've been PPR'd is against rules.0 -

Since when has proving information taken directly from DSG and Pixmania websites and corporate records been classed as lying.
A copied, unverifiable e-mail on the other hand is simply a few words that could have been written by anyone.Er, that e-mail was from the FOUNDER and OWNER of Pixmania, not just some rep.0 -
Not sure it's texranger. Two posters joined yesterday and are deliberately posting rubbish to start arguments. It's this one and dfh2012. I suspect they are either the same person or friends. Don't think they will last longThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

So you admit he is the owner then, and not DSG?0 -

No, and I never stated anything of the sort.
If you re-read my post you will see what I said was:If you honestly believe that the founder and owner of Pixmania sits in their office
I was simply asking if you really believed it.
It is a fact that any company which has shares that are openly traded is legally owned by the shareholders, so according to Pixmania themselves, who is the majority shareholder of the Pixmania group? (and is therefore the legal owner).
Answer:
"Dixons Retail plc Group is Pixmania’s majority shareholder and the 3rd largest electrical and consumer electronics retailer worldwide."0 -

According to Pixmania, the company is privately owned and is nothing to do with DSG.0
