Nutella you're LO is so...um...clever?!
G is currently bouncing away in his jumperoo, but the guy who lives below has just turned his tv up REALLY loud, hoping its coincidence and not because of thunder foot over here. He's a lovely bloke and has never complained about us being noisy but I'm getting paranoid now. Living in a flat sucks sometimes

Ok I am a bad bad mummy! The light in the living room went, so I went to get a bulb from the cupboard under thr stairs. I took reuben with me as he was being a bit clingy, and for a joke i sat him on the shelf, he liked it, he likes that sort of thing (sitting/being high up!), but I didnt think it through when picking him up and I whacked his head on the edge of the shelf above!! He has a huge red bit with a little raised lump in the middle. And oh he cried and cried and cried
the only thing that has stopped him crying has been boob
I feel really guilty!!!

Poor Reuben
Doesnt help I know but I did the same thing to Jake when he was about 3 months old. I have very deep window sills so I sat his bouncer on one to watch the cars go past and when I came to take him out I just lifted him out of the bouncer and didnt take into account the low "ceiling". He cried and cried but he did forgive me eventually:A:A:A:A:A:A0 -
Aw poor Reuben
. Hope he feels better soon
Gave G a meatball, pasta and mushrooms for tea tonight, not interested in the meatball, think he struggled to get hold of it so gave up. Had a good chew on the pasta and mushroom - thought he'd eaten the whole chunk of mushroom until I was getting him ready for his bath and spotted it wedged in his cheek! Katie, sounds like George enjoyed his dinner! Reuben has had cucumber for the first time today and went nuts for it!
Think I will do pasta for him tomorrow, also have got a mango to try (I've not had mango since I was a kid so him quite excited to see if I like it too, lol how sad!)
Lol@ the food storage ,katie! How are you finding the nappies? Im still a little freaked out by the, erm, special extras that weaning nappies bring!0 -

Pasta is a favourite here, mainly because its fairly easy to hold I think, anything he can't get a grip on he just loses interest in straight away.
Ha I'm about used to the nappies now I think - although the stink gets me everytime! Soooo much worse than when he was just BF!
Good luck with the mango, G's only had it when we were spoon feeding but it went down a treat, as its so sweet. Sticky though, I imagine after feeding himself with it he'll need to go straight in the bath!Newborn thread member
