Don't tempt me, I'm already broke and I've barely started christmas shopping. I've actually decided to keep one thing I'd bought as a present for myself - a ceramics company came to baby group so I got his footprint put on a few bits for the grandparents. But the mug is too cute so I'm keeping it!

You'll have to let us know how the coke recipe goes, sounds interesting! Are slow cookers good? I'm tempted but don't know if I'd get the use out of it.
Looks like my monkey has discovered how fun it is pulling all the clean nappies out of the changing basket. That'll teach for me leaving it on the floor.Newborn thread member

Hi ladies
Katiechoc - I love love love my slow cooker. Brown your meat with onions off in a pan and then chuck it in with a load of veg and seasoning and come back in a few hours to a delicious stew. I made a chilli in mine last weekend and do spag bols and variations on the stew theme. Love it. I have 6.5 litre Morphy Richards one (you can get them for around £20 - 25) and it is easily filled. Lots of portions for easy reheating. I won't be using mine for a while.
Nutella - the baby dam arrived and I used it last night. I can see it would definitely work, if I had bothered to fit it properly. As it was, I had water either side and a bit of plastic in the middle. I worked out how to stick it down properly about halfway through the bath. I could have just read the instructions of course (helpfully in picture form), but that would be too easy
I am off to try and persuade myself I don't *need* a tripp trapp. I have a perfectly fine secondhand cosatto aurora with a lovely water play mat that LO loves.
Off to deal with a smelly nappy!

Hmm I'll give it some thought. Be nice to just be able to chuck it all in and not worry about it.
Just seen this on Facebook, think a couple of you ladies have the 3sixti? Safety announcement about it - http://www.cosatto.com/360Newborn thread member

I've just recieved an email from cosatto regarding the highchair. I think it because we purchased a pushchair, they must automatically email everyone.

THanks katie, this is old though - they muust re-advertise it (responsible of them, or just to save being sued eh!), we already have the replacement screws
I'm sorry ladies, I HATE slow cookers and I gave mine away. I felt it was like if you get 5 different lovely colour paints - mix them all together and you get a horrible brown, yeah? Well same with the slow cooker...take 5 lovely ingredients, mix them all together and end up with sludge where every part of it tastes the same as the other parts, nothing has its own individual flavour any more.
