THanks katie, this is old though - they muust re-advertise it (responsible of them, or just to save being sued eh!), we already have the replacement screws :)

I'm sorry ladies, I HATE slow cookers and I gave mine away. I felt it was like if you get 5 different lovely colour paints - mix them all together and you get a horrible brown, yeah? Well same with the slow cooker...take 5 lovely ingredients, mix them all together and end up with sludge where every part of it tastes the same as the other parts, nothing has its own individual flavour any more. Bleurgh!

Ah ok, I didn't honestly read it very closely!

My enthusiasm for a slow cooker is slightly less now! Tbh not sure we have room for one, would prob get more use out of a bread maker. Might just stick with the pressure cooker and get everything done super quick during a nap. Speaking of which, I'm enjoying a hot cuppa and biscuits in peace right now. Bliss!

I've just read the email they sent me, apparently it was August they announced the safety notice. They are apparently trying to "spread the word" again as obviously not everyone may of heard about it.

  • Fluff - our high hair is a Christmas present for Niall as well, you've got to be practical sometimes.

No car here today as both ways into work are Unpassable for my dh. Therefore missed out on my breastfeeding cafe and I really look forward to it. Never mind instead I took a walk into work to show little guy off. Can't believe I have been on mat leave for 5 months, only feels like a couple of months.

Shopping in Cambridge on sat cant wait won't be buying any dresses or tops as boobs are still bigger cos of bfing. Will be looking for shoes and trousers though.

We have primark opening in Peterborough today, love some of their stuff but found baby grows quite thin.

I am hungry but have Niall sleeping in me in sling so don't want to disturb.

I mainly cook joints of meat in mine :D i find it just falls apart once cooked........lovely! I have tried a stew but I found it quite watery, would rather use my my big pot on the oven for that.

Well the gammon is smelling lovely so fingers crossed it tastes good!

My LO might only be little, but she's already multitasking. She just managed to simultaneously cover my jumper in sticky asparagus/sweet potato/milk (lunch revisited) and my trousers in poo (nappy leaked). Not bad! :o

You've just confirmed my prejudice against slow cookers - this is exactly what I'd always imagined it'd be like, hence why I don't have one... I like crunchy vegetables and being able to identify what I'm eating :o
