  • Just managed to catch up with thread. Still terrible sleep from Niall, the last 4 nights he has woke after 40 mins, then 3 hours and that's when I end up cosleeping. All I hear from my mum is give him a dummy which is rather frustrating. Less crying at night so looks like wind meds are working.

Weight gain was ok 10oz over 2 weeks, am still giving 150ml of expressed milk daily so a bit disappointed it wasn't more weight. He has been sicking up quite a lot of his feeds though which doesn't help. This seems to have improved over the last few days.

Went to see twilight today, kept crying thinking about Niall and how much I love him. God I'm soft sometimes lol my friend looked after Niall. He is tired out has been sleeping on me for just over an hour. Dh is also asleep next to me.
Dark in here can't get up to turn light on.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekends

    Happy Birthday to Poppy!

I still have a snotty unhappy baby but at least hubby is here today to help out with her. We got some saline drops which is helping as well as the karvol rub and her temp has been up so on the meds too bless her. Night from hell as well, it was like having a newborn again!

Jediquigley - I take it you aren't keen on a dummy so stand your ground, it isn't anyone else's decision. We tried one briefly thinking it would help her settle but she repeatedly spat it out so that was the end of that! I didn't want to try it but it seemed like it might be an option, baby had other ideas. She sucks her thumb now though, which is so cute!

No she hasn't sunshine. I don't know of she is on the Facebook group? I'm not on there so I don't know.

Does anyone know how jannine and Poppy are doing?

Got loads of bargains today at the baby sales! :) I couldn't find any annoying musical toys though. I bought a few but they aren't annoying (yet!).
Also bought enough vests and sleepsuits in 9-12 months to last him.

Heard great things about the baby dam :) good if you're on a water meter too.

Thanks Gilly, I think I might get one. We don't have a water meter as we're in a flat considered unsuitable, but I just hate wasting water - to the point where I sometimes sneak into the bathroom whilst OH is brushing his teeth to switch off the running tap... :o

I hate it when people leave the tap running when they're doing their teeth! We have to ask mil to turn it off every.single.time she stays at ours, she says oh it won't make any difference. Um actually yes it will!

Happy birthday Poppy! Hope you're all ok Jannine x

Well done on the bargains sammie! Are those toys getting on your nerves yet? I didn't think the walker was annoying at first but now...

We didnt go to the lights switch on, it hasn't stopped raining all day here. Went to see some friends who are having their first baby in February and drop off our bouncy chair for them. Also cleaned the kitchen floor and then threw baby food all over it

How is aiden's cough now sunshine? Did you manage to get him to take the inhaler?
