I love how honest everyone is about their little ones toys!!
I have banned myself from this thread after 8pm now as last night I had a crazy dream after being on here so late!
It involved a meet up with everyone at mine, most people turned up with a "normal" baby and everything was going well until Fluffnutter turned up with her little one who had 2 heads . No one wanted to seem rude so we never said anything! Next Nutella turns up with her little one, a watermelon with a drawn on face and a wig!! double  needless to say things went downhill after that !!

Guess what, my little girl slept through the night! :j
I had to get up twice to put the dummy back in, but apart from that she slept from 7pm to 5.30am! Even though I've been up since 5.30, I don't feel tired (yet) - I've actually had a proper* night's sleep for the first time in months! :j
Fingers crossed she can keep it up...
* Funny how having a baby changes your perception of these things. There's no way, pre-baby, I would have considered 11pm - 5.30am to be a 'proper night's sleep'.0 -
Yay, :j that's great Nutella. Long may it last.
Right off to karate in the rain now!
Hope everyone has a nice day.

Does anyone have a BabyDam bath divider? www.amazon.co.uk/BabyDam-The-New-Improved-Version/dp/B001VMNKIK/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1353747930&sr=1-1
LO will have outgrown her baby bath within the next couple of months - I like the idea of the BabyDam as our bath takes ages to fill and I don't like wasting water, but it has mixed reviews although most are positive...0 -
I just put a couple of inches in the main bath for George, not sure how reliable a dam thing would be tbh. Would make it easier for him to catch the rubber duck though, that pesky thing is always just out if his reach!
Yay for sleeping through! Hope it continues! G was fed at 12, 2.30&3 as he wouldn't settle but at 4.30 I decided there was no way he needed more milk so didnt feed him. Took an hour to get him off but he did eventually.
Hope you find some bargains sammie!
It's the Xmas light switch on here today, if it stops raining think I'll take him down for a wander. Got a real craving for a big hot chocolate with cream and a flake in a polystyrene cup!Newborn thread member

Heard great things about the baby dam
good if you're on a water meter too.
Happy birthday Poppy :jThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Happy birthday Poppy!!
Just back from a nice and leisurely brunch with a friend. Fed LO solids in public for the first time - she did fantastically well, sat in a cafe highchair and finished off an entire Ellas pouch! The weather's rubbish, but I was wearing my lovely warm waterproof coat and am feeling full of energy after a proper night's sleep! :TWalked past M&Co on our way home and bought a nice warm cardigan - they're doing 20% off winterwear this weekend. Very pleased with it
