Ok - just tried to feed him again and it did hurt and still does. I've just expressed both sides after the feed and got 20ml off each breast so I assume that he has actually fed enough to feel satisfied - he didn't seem to be on there long though.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

We're the 6-9 month trousers next or from a different shop? I find next clothes smaller in size compared to other shops.
Cooked a roast this afternoon so everyone is full up now.Just going to chuck the boys in the shower then get Noah up for his bath as he is sleeping (hopefully he will still go to bed at a reasonable time!)
Sexymouse - hope you managed to clean up after the poo incident!

Kids clothes do seem to come up different sizes from different shops. I find next big for Niall.
Dire sleep again last night, went down for 3 hours, then 40 mins, then an hour and another hour. Dh then took him downstairs and used expressed milk so I could get another 3hours sleep:) I am worried that this wont improve as has been like this for a couple of weeks. Luckily once or twice a week he will do 4/5 hours he used to do this every night when he was younger. It worries me that he is not getting enough breastmilk, I don't know.
Hope to get to breastfeeding cafe this week for reassurance. Might have a walk to my work to show Niall off and want to try to cath up with my sister.
Hope people have enjoyed their weekends, boo hoo for dhs going back to work.

8 months  sunshine! Hope he gets on ok at nursery this week. I know I asked recently but when are you actually at work? Is it this week or are you settling him in before you go back?
Hope you enjoyed your roast sammie! We had one at the in laws, and I've just made a pot of soup to keep us going tonight. Bath time soon though.
Jedi - how old is your LO now? George went from being up only once a night to wanting feeding 5-6 times in a night around 4 months. It's probably not what you want to hear but he didn't improve until we started weaning, we started early at 5 months as I couldn't take it any more. G was only bf up to that point, and I know another mum who had the exact same situation too. So, although its not exactly good news on the sleep front, you're not the only one to have this issue! (Presuming your little is about the same age. On phone so can't really check)Newborn thread member

Happy 8 months Aiden!
My LO is 6 months today - that's HALF A YEAR! Where has the time gone?...0 -
Thanks for all your well wishes - I'm feeling better today, have managed to eat twice and am able to keep food down. Also went to Homebase to get some paint and stuff for the nursery (was determined to go this weekend as they had 15% off everything) - I think the fresh air was good for me. LO is still pooing, but 'only' four times today compared to yesterday's every couple of hours, and she's also had more milk today plus lots of water and some porridge - yesterday she refused solids altogether. So I think she's on the mend - been wondering if I should take her to the doctor tomorrow, but I honestly don't think there's much they can do, they'll probably just tell me to make sure she stays hydrated. She's still her usual happy self though and was bouncing away in her jumperoo earlier0

Thanks everyone for the suggestions on the nursing bras. I have decided to buy some Debenhams "cheap" bras (2 x £20), which had very good reviews anyway, until the baby is born. Then I will go and get a proper fitting if I can breastfeed. Debenhams has some good discounts at the moment, by the way, they have some Christmas sale going on and a 10% discount offer with code TF49, plus free delivery.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*
