    Aw how cute fluff!

George is much better now thanks turtle, had a few hours of constant exploding nappies (not bloody) this morning but its been a couple of hours since the last one so think he's over it. Going to take him in for a check up in the morning just to be on the safe side. He's just polished off a bowl of butternut squash so it doesn't appear to have put him off food too much! He's 6months tomorrow! Going to crack on with the finger foods as soon as I get a bath mat or something to put under his chair.

Thanks Nutella :o I'm definitely going to start double checking what I give him. Although he's already had strawberry in a plum pouch - went down a treat :o.

Nearly bath time, bit nervous given his explosive bottom earlier today

Katie - don't beat yourself up hun food is a minefield, I'm 25 and still finding out my intolerances.

Fluff - hes so cute, look at his hair and chubby cheeks :)

Does anyone know where the tradition to give new babies silver comes from? Took Jakey to our local social club to show him off to some family friends and all the old biddys my mum and gran know kept putting coins in his hand and he's ended up with £9.40 lol just putting it in his money box now :) x

Thanks ikkle. He's got mental hair. The underneath of it goes one way and then there's a layer on top which goes the other! I like brushing it (because it makes him look sooo sweet) but I never know which way to go. I alternate each day :D

I think the silver thing sounds like an old Romany custom, tbh.

He's gorgeous Fluff :D So cute. I could just squeeze his wee cheeks.

R.e intolerances, it's hard to say, A has an intolerance, to Cows Milk Protein, which is pretty much all dairy but can have kiwi and strawberries fine, in fact strawberries are almost his favourite, he gobbles them down like nobodies business. It's all trial and error, and an intolerance isn't as scary as an allergy, you will get sickness or bad nappies or maybe even a rash with an intolerance, but it'l pass. An allergy is scary as it can stop them breathing etc.

Hello all, still awol, snowed under here with washing (from when we were ill 2 week ago!) We all go home for a visit on Thursday, our flight is 7am so I really really need to be organised, and I'm getting nowhere fast. Aaron stood for the first time not holding on to anything today, for about 10 seconds and then he dropped onto his bum, he looked amazed and then as if he didn't know what was happening, so funny :o Hope we're all well xx

  • Fluff- did you say a while ago you had ductile thrush? I have it and wondering how other people treated it. Freddie looks a happy boy:)

Do people put there Los in sleep bags in their Moses basket. I haven't put Niall in his yet, he is now kicking off covers so may be a good idea.

He woke 4 times last night, I don't know what going on with him. This past week he has started waking after 45 mins sometimes at nights eeekkkk did anyone else's Los do this?

No, I think it was sexymouse who thought she might have it. I did have cracked nipples and stabbing pains in my boobs though when I was first nursing, but things just cleared up on their own in time. It was all down to latching really.

I think you can use miconazole if you're breastfeeding. It's a topical cream. Have you seen your GP? Has Niall got oral thrush too? You need to make sure you're not reinfecting each other.

Freddie always sleeps in a sleeping bag now. They're great. If Niall's big enough, I'd certainly recommend giving them a try although I do wonder how F manages to sleep when his arms seem so cold!

  • Sammie, he has been a little grumpy but not too bad really! Made my mum feel it as we are round for tea. Mum was impressed lol !!

Ikkle, when Aiden was 3 days old we took him to town and in the bank an old lady opened his hand and gave him 50p. We were a bit like, errm what??!! My mum said its lacing thier palm with silver....weird!x

Fluff - what a cutie. :D nice head of hair too!!

Sunshine - I bet you will constantly be feeling his little tooth now!! Glad he is not too bad with it though.

Gilly - wow clever Aaron! Sounds like he will be an early walker!!

Kids are all tucked up in bed now. Got to get used to being out the door early for school again and the temperature has really dropped so not looking forward to it. :(

    Oooh bargain alert!

Vertbaudet usually have a £15 off £20 spend for new customers, but good luck finding a combination of items to be near £20 - so you might find a combo for £25 but then you have £4 postage too.

BUT I have just got a 3 pack of long sleeve vests (plain white £14), and 2 pairs of socks (£6), which come to precisely £20 total, meaning with a voucher code it is £15 off AND free delivery too..so just paid £5 for 3 vests, 2 pairs of socks AND a free dino toy (whatever that is!) :money:

I don't think I'm allowed to post the code am I? Here's a link, you can find it second one down on there
