Wow what a good sleeper turtle! Can Reuben tell George his secrets please?!
Mil is staying til tomorrow. Getting on much better now, think I was just hungry and was up too early. Going to just ignore anything now, I think what I'm doing for him is right, and I don't need to justify my actions to anyone. So there!
Back to the coat issue - we got him a winter coat the other day but I was wondering if anyone knew anywherethatsells warm fleecy over trousers? His top half is plenty warm enough but even with the cosy toes I think his legs will be chilly when it gets really cold out.
Katie I cant do links as on my phone but h and m do those trousersxx

Sammie, do you have any organised parent & baby swimming sessions near you? Worth checking out if you do. The one we go to on Friday mornings is at a local authority-run pool, so it's cheap (£3.05) and the instructor is really good - lots of singing, lots of activities aimed at getting babies used to (and loving) water, and lots of plastic ducks, watering cans and footballs!
Our leisure centre has a mother and baby swimming group but I think it is £75 for an 8 week course. Not sure if that is expensive or not.
My cupboards have fruit snack pots, baby food jars etc too
Tesco are doing Heinz cans for 24p do I stocked up on about 100!!

Hello all
More fireworks here tonight. Hope your LO sleeps through them Nutella.
I am starting to think I have an addiction to buying baby clothes. My sister just told me asda have a clothes sale on Monday so I am now very excited and have planned my morning to visit asda!!
I am also a bit sad as I realised soon he will not be in the 'baby' section of clothing, but the bigger boys bitnooooo
Just watching X factor all on my own as OH has gone to bed  he has been doing his mates car all day so is pretty shattered.

Sunshine, there are worse things you could be addicted to!
Thanks for thinking of us re. the fireworks. I'm afraid LO is really struggling to sleepThe fireworks are much louder than last night - some of them sound like they're coming from our back garden! I've been running up and down for the past couple of hours trying to soothe her back to sleep - and every time she falls asleep, there's another loud bang and she wakes up crying
Ewan is doing his very best, but he just can't compete with fireworks. Hope they finish soon, and that everyone else's LOs manage to sleep through them.

Just typed a post and then it disappeared...annoying!
Nutella, sounds like your LO is really struggling with them, poor little thing. Touch wood, Aiden hasn't properly woken although he is stirring a little.
TBH, I am not a fireworks fan really. Have never been too keen on bonfires etc. Obviously if Aiden likes them when he is older I will take him, but personally I don't see the fuss!
Hope your LO can settle down soon, I don't suppose its any quieter in your room for her?
They seem to ease off about 10:30 our end, hope they do for you too xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

They seem to be easing off now (touch wood), Ewan has just finished another 20-minute slot and she's still asleep, so fingers crossed.
Just steamed and mashed some plums for her breakfast - will be her first time trying them tomorrow, always interesting to see what her reaction is to new things!
Off to bed in a minute - hope everyone and your LOs sleep well x0 -
lucky here....we live right next to the big park where the Council-run bonfire night is, so LOTS of noise here, right nearby...Reuben couldn't give two hoots! OH and SS went down to the park, but I stayed at home, I did take Reu out the front door as we could see them from there, but he wasn't really bothered about it - even with the banging he just looked at me like "yeah? whatever...." :rotfl:0
