Meh awful night here, this cold means reuben is only sleeping about an hour and a half at a time, then wakes up and wants boob, but only for about 2 mins, so i think he has a dry sore throat making him thirsty - he then fusses and moans, coughs and sneezes a bit, and eventually goes back to sleep....but then i was wide awake, i'd just drop off and time for the next one, argh!
I can't even nap with him today, as my mum and dad are ging to be in a magasine and ive promised to proof read the article theyve been sent - ive had a glance over and it's pretty terrible so going to have to spend reubens naps working on that instead of the sleeping i'd rather be doing!0 -
Morning, sorry you had a bad night turtle, hope your little man is feeling better soon. What magazine are your parents in turtle? Hope it doesn't take you too long to go through it.
Hope Noah is still on the up sammie? Have fun at toys r us!
We were up twice last night, including once when he woke up absolutely screaming - he never does that, I nearly smashed the lamp trying to get it switched on in such a panic! Don't know what had happened but he was inconsolable, wouldn't even take the boob until he'd calmed down a bit. This morning he was up at 7 but as I was so shattered I lay him down on top of the quilt next to me and I dozed for a bit, woke up and he was sound asleep next to me.
Today I think I might go for a wander round the carboot, see if I can find any bargains!Newborn thread member

Morning all
Glad Noah is feeling better, but sorry to hear Reuben is still feeling poorly
Katie, my LO sometimes wakes up screaming like that - I think she's been dreaming something scary, I've been told babies dream more than adults?... Hope you find some carboot bargains!
I've just eaten my breakfast at a normal breakfast time whilst LO has been bouncing away in the jumperoo - it's already proven to be worth its weight in gold
I have a hugely exciting day planned: I'm going to figure out how to use the new steamer, do some laundry, and buy a new Sky remote control where the 0 and 1 buttons actually work...
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Katiechoc - Noah is so much better today thank you. He has had is breakfast and is now playing with his toys
I wonder if George had a bad dream? Poor little mite. Hope you manage to find some bargains at the boot sale. I wanted to go but didn't want to walk around with Noah like he is.
Nutella - thanks. I'm glad you and little one are still pleased with the jumperoo!!
There was a jumperoo near me on eBay that was on £25.00 and didn't get any bids. DP said I should of bought it!! Even he thinks they are amazing! Xx:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012

Nutella welcome to the church of jumperoo!!!
Oh Katie Reuben has done that to me once, he was having a nap upstairs and I had the monitor on and he went from silent to screaming in no seconds!! I ran upstairs to find him really upset - I guess they must have nightmares as well as nice dreams.
I feel like poo with this cold - its one of those ones with all the pressure behind your eyes - add no sleep in the mix and I am like a zombie today!!0 -
Katie forgot to answer you, I don't actually know what magazine! It's about their experiemce of selling up, emigrating and setting up businesses in another country - so I'm guessing a travel mag or something like that0

Well I was fairly well behaved at the carboot, OH didn't come so I could have bought MUCH more than I did, had to keep thinking what he'd say if I got home with a boot full of toys! I got a set of stacking cups and a fisher price vibrating ball/pig thing, and some new jogging bottoms for him from asda. Very nearly got him a Santas Little Helper outfit too but I restrained myself.
A lady had a go at me too, I said excuse me a load of times but she ignored me so I pushed past her (basically pushed the buggy right into her as she was blocking the whole path) and she started yelling at me! She wasn't English though so I'm not sure what she was saying. I got the gist though, she wasn't happy!Newborn thread member

Sounds like it was worth going today then.Shame about the rude lady though! I love the bargains you can get at boot sales/ charity shops.
Went to toys r us earlier, ds1 bought some skylanders and some halo Lego so he is pleased. Just changed our bedding and had a cup of tea and now I feel shattered!! DP is snoring next to me with the Laptop on his lap still!! Noah is happily jumping in his jumperoo!!

Try bibs like these, dark colours so don't really stain, and cover most of their clothes. He still puts his hands underneath and wipes them on his trousers when he's feeling contrary of course.
We've got those, they fab xxDFD February 2012
